Chapter 7: Chapter 7: My Assistant
So, now I am on my way back with my parents. It only took us about three and a half hour to reach out home using our private plane which is alot better than a six hour car drive.
I am happy though I found someone who I like and might be just right for me.
All of us were back on our skedules, everyone but me. Now, thanks to Zander I am completely distracted all the time but doesn't take one day to break a life time of focus.
But a few things have changed, I found a homeless dog on the way. She was so beautiful with her blue eyes and followed commands perfectly so I decided to keep it.
We went to the vet and got her checked. She was healthy and just a little leg injury but she would be up and running in no time.
Also, my father doesn't makes me meet sons of other people anymore since he also knows I have a very strict choice and he was proud of it but I still have to great his friends.
Zander and I still keep in touch through emails and phone calls but at night Sapphire is asleep and Dread X wakes up.
Sunday went by and so did moday morning and I practiced my skills anytime I get a chance which does includes tricking Ria just for fun and I am a lot good at it now.
I can lift other from far away and make anything I touch invisible and so on. Monday evening came and it is something that I was looking forward to. Today I got to test our over confident Miss Ria.
At 8 o' clock sharp I was Dread X. I finished two kills by the time it was nine and got 32 million dollars as a cash prize. Kept the money in my hideout which is pretty cool if I say so myself.
In the morning it will look clean and nothing will be there, but when there is no light, all the Grafitis I made glow in neon and just by pushing a single tile on the floor all my Guns and Gear appear.
After hiding my money I went to get some refills and new guns and to sharpen my swords.
"Hiya Dread X, what can I do for you today?" asked a man in mask just like Dread X's but he covered his eyes as well.
On the other hand Dread X's mask was till her nose only. And the shop was obviously illegal otherwise who would be opening a gun store in the night.
"I need my swords sharpened, about five hundred refills that could last about another week and two new pocket guns" I said giving him the swords.
"Alright,.. anything else" he asked
"Nah, that would be all" I said giving him enough money.
"Mr Jae, Sir, the police are coming!" a skinny man said as he came running.
"What the police never come here!" said Jae the man to whom I was talking earlier.
"How many of 'em?" I asked confidently
"Two cars.." he said but ran away after looking at me.
"I'll take care of them..Give me a sword" I said and as he gave me the sword I literally disappeared which left everyone there surprised.
The police were about a mile away and yes there were only four officers. I stepped in front of the cars and they stopped and came out. One came slowly close, with a gun in his hand.
"Hi miss, I need you to take off the mask and drop any weapon if you have one" he said stopping in a distance.
"Hi officer, I am not taking off my mask or giving you my weapons" I said with a evil stare.
"Lady you're outnumbered" he said
"Firstly don't call me a lady and " I said taking out my sword.
"secondly,...outnumbered... I beg to differ" I continued as I dissapered.
"Where did she go?" said officer 1.
" Surprise" I said showing my self a little and dissapered again and killed him.
"Head Officer is down" said officer 2 as I killed her.
"I know.." said officer 3 as I killed her.
"See, not outnumbered at all" I said only letting him hear me.
"Oh..my.." said officer 4 as he died.
I returned to the shop. According to Jae it was fast. It took only two minutes. I took the Guns and the refills. I gave him his sword back as he gave mines to me.
I went to my hideout and kept the refills there and closed it. I was exactly on time. it was nine thirty and Ria reached as expected as she stepped in the dark I showed myself.
She started walking backwards and I went forward following her. When I came into the light she stopped. She said my name and agreed nodding my head and dissapered.
"Ria did say you were keen to take job! " I said as I reappeared behind her and walked infront of her trying to inspect weapons if she had any but she didn't.
"Came alone at night.. without any weapon, foolish!" I said sounding scary.
"I didn't knew I'd be meeting you.." Ria said
"Meeting me or not.. Weapon is must" I said giving her one of my swords.
"I don't have enough money to buy a weapon" Ria said
"Hmm, You know how to fight?" I asked
"Yes,.." she replied and I threw a knife at her on purpose which missed her by just a little.
It was like a lightening bolt striking Ria a zillion times in a row...
She got shocked. "Never let down your guard!" I said. Then when I looked back, she threw three pebbles at me and I cought each one. She was more than surprised.
I needed more knives and some weapons for Ria so I picked up my sword from behind of Ria and told her to always remember where you kept your weapon in fight or not.
"Are you teaching me and giving me pointers?" Ria asked
"Yes, I want an assistant and Sapphire wanted you to have a job so your hired till you die" I said confidently and she gulped.
"YOU COMING, SLOWPOKE" I said.
