Chapter 13: Who's first ?
Kiyotaka quickly recovered from what had just happened. The fact that he had destroyed the room but especially the fact that he was caught in an illusion created by an unknown person who looked very powerful.
"Kiyotaka-kun, are you okay? I think Evil Piece reacted badly" The redhead approached Kiyotaka who was still thinking about this white place.
"Buchou, Kiyotaka is fine, we have to go save Asia!" Issei urged Rias to help him save Asia.
"Don't worry Issei-kun, we'll be leaving soon." Rias looked at Issei with an expression half angry at him. The perverted boy had been acting like a child for a short time.
Koneko nodded looking at Issei like he was a trash can.
"Ara ara, but the question everyone is asking is... is Kiyotaka now part of the peerage or not?" Akeno asked, gazing down at the boy who looked already recovered from what had happened.
Kiyotaka looked at everyone in the room, what warmed his heart was that they were all really worried about him.
"Normally, Kiyotaka-kun, you should feel the part of 'bishop' in you," Rias said with soft eyes and a small smile, she didn't want to force him too much. What he had just experienced was strange, to say the least. Rias thought that when this was all over, she should talk to her older brother.
Kiyotaka followed Rias' words as he focused inside him trying to find out if he had the piece.
A bright crimson light lit up Kiyotaka's chest as the chess piece came out and a great aura shocked the entire room.
"It's the bishop piece, but it's completely different from the one known, it's not even a mutation I think," Rias thought aloud, putting one hand on her hip and the other on her lips. The other interchanged looks were chosen between Rias and Kiyotaka.
Rias sighed then shook her head if she didn't know someone else might know. The only choice that had to be done for now was to go and help Asia who was being held back by the fallen angels.
"Akeno are you coming? Kiyotaka is doing a lot better and we have to go." Rias moved away from the group as Akeno calmly followed her behind of course after actually checking that Kiyotaka was okay.
"Buchou! Issei yelled but was quickly interrupted by Rias.
"Remember that even if you are promoted a fallen angel is difficult to fight." After Rias finished speaking, a magic circle appeared below the redhead and Akeno, then the two disappeared in an instant.
Kiyotaka watched from a lazy scene, all he wanted to know was how strong he had become now that he was a devil, and what kind of change had the stranger made to him?
"Issei, shouldn't you go get Asia?" Kiyotaka turned his gaze to Issei, the perverted boy was just a bum with powers, that's all he thought about him.
"Yes I'm going to go, I won't let her die!" Issei clenched his hands tightly as he thought of Asia, who must be in pain.
"Alright let's go then" Kiyotaka smiled as he left the room, followed by Issei, then Yuuto who wanted to help them, and finally Koneko who didn't want to leave them alone.
A few minutes later, the group arrived in front of an old abandoned church that occurs in the middle of a forest. There was only one large door leading inside the building.
"It's here," Issei said looking at the old church, he was not at all sure what was going to happen.
"It seems that there are plenty of priests gathered in the church" Yuuto pointed out to the group consisting of Kiyotaka, Koneko, Issei, and him.
"Thanks for coming." Issei turned to thank the group but Yuuto just waved his hand to say it was nothing before he spoke.
"We are a family ... and then I don't like priests ... to tell the truth, I hate them" Kiba frowned in anger looking at the ground as if he was remembering a painful memory.
Kiyotaka noticed Yuuto's change in attitude when he spoke of 'priests' but he only shook his head with a sigh and then walked with his hands in his pockets to the main door of the church.
"Kiyotak-" Issei tried to hold him back but was stopped by Koneko who moved forward with Kiyotaka.
"It's no use they may have already spotted us," Koneko said as she walked side to side with the relaxed Kiyotaka. Since he was with them, Koneko had noticed that Kiyotaka had recovered his behavior from the beginning. Cold and distant as if something had happened to him.
Kiyotaka arrived at the front door of the church, stepping aside and waiting for something.
* BAM *
The door opened with a crashing sound banging against the walls of the church. Koneko had opened the big door with a simple kick which impressed Kiyotaka a little.
'The power of a rook is not something to be underestimated' Looking at the serious-looking loli, Kiyotaka entered the church. Inside there were prayer benches everywhere, broken statutes, and a large window in front of the group that shed the moonlight that illuminated the interior of the church.
* footstep * * footstep * * footstep *
Footsteps echoed as a figure began to appear from the shadows.
"Yo yo yo, how we meet again" The priest who was arriving or rather Freed, laid his eyes with a wild air on everyone.
"Didn't your arm heal?" An emotionless voice came from the group who stood on their guard of the mad priest in front of them except one person.
Freed wanted to know who dared to laugh at his injury when he saw it: "Y- You!" The priest fell to the floor pointing his fingers with his remaining arm at Kiyotaka who had a casual look with his hands still in his pockets.
"I don't have time to play" A red magic circle appeared just behind Kiyotaka, then ...
* BOOOM *
A mind-boggling explosion engulfed the whole church, which began to shake from the impact.
* In the basement of the church *
Raynare looked at the ceiling of the church, the explosion was extremely powerful even for someone like her. She knew whoever caused the impact was not easy.
"Fallen Angel-sama, what are we doing?" A priest in black clothes asked Raynare, behind him there were lots of priests with the same clothes, all praying or whispering among themselves.
* Swing * * splash *
The priest's blood splashed all over the floor painting him red, through him a red-colored spear emitting a warm light had pierced his heart. The priest died instantly.
"Speed up the process! I want the sacred geared of this less than nothing. With I would be the strongest of all the fallen angels and I could take revenge on those who laughed at me" Raynare turned her head looking at a blonde-haired girl attached to a biblical cross. A look of disgust crossed her face when she looked at the nun
* Thunder * * Thunder *
The sound of thunder echoed outside the church. The rain was starting to beat strongly, hitting the walls of the old building.
* footsteps * * footstep * * footstep *
The sound of someone coming down the stairs echoed in the great hall, which had only candlesticks for light sources.
All the priests and Raynare turned their heads to see who was introduced without their permission. What they saw was only a teenage boy with brown hair and bright yellow eyes walking down the stairs with his hands in his pockets.
Completely relaxed.
"Hello, who is Raynare?" The teenager questioned the whole group of priests in front of him but no one answered. He scanned the room with his eyes and saw a woman in a tight bikini with a little SM side who looked at him strangely as if he was just a common ant. Beside her, the teenager also noticed the blonde girl who was firmly hanging on a large cross.
"I guess it's you, I recognized you. The last time you planted your spear of light in the perverted teen" Kiyotaka pointed to Raynare who was starting to smile mockingly.
"AHAHAAHAH, so you are his friend? Do you want to die the same way?" The fallen angel laughed aloud, not taking Kiyotaka seriously at all.
"You know I wouldn't be smart if I were you ... but hey, too bad" Kiyotaka raised his arm before a magic circle appeared in front of him.
* Bing *
A metallic noise echoed throughout the room which had become silent. Everyone on their guard what the boy was up to.
Kiyotaka pulled out a silver sword wrist, then poured magic inside the wrist.
*Crackling*
A magnificent fire issued from the wrist as a blade. The weapon was really beautiful but with the fire coming out of it it had a fierce and eye-catching look.
Kiyotaka smiled at everyone but still focused his gaze on Raynare before saying, "Who's first?"
