"Princess Feronia!" Alexander greeted the woman who now stood at the front of the other ship, facing Edwin and the group.

Her amber-coloured eyes were trained only on Edwin while he caught Ruth's pale face. The alarm went off in Edwin's mind, and he wished he could communicate with Ruth through the mindlink.

He understood that something was not right about this woman but what?

Just when he was about to look away, Ruth's eyes found his. A silent conversation transpired between them, and when the realisation dawned upon Edwin, he gulped nervously but kept his face as stoic as he could.

It was clear.
