Chapter 16: Finally Reunited
"You are really her father? Like blood related child" said Damon after he set the Whitmore house on fire.
Stefan nodded as he made his way to his car.
Damon frowned as he knew that vampires can't procreate because they are supposed to be dead but his brother managed to do the impossible "but how's that even possible? I mean, we are dead so technically, that shouldn't be possible" said Damon as he moved closer to Stefan "are you sure this child wasn't forced upon you" he whispered in his ears
"I assure that, that's not the way it played out and we can't force the child on him because it wasn't a human who gave birth to the child but a vampire, my sister"
Damon raised his head to look at a man in a five piece suit, standing by his side was his father, Giuseppe who was also captured by the Augustine.
"Who are you supposed to be? A noble vampire?" Damon asked based on the way he carried himself and the way he dressed.
"Damon, I see being confined and experimented on for three years has not done anything to your sense of humor" said Lexi who came out of the shadows together with Anna.
"What can I say, I am always the ever charismatic brother" said Damon as he jabbed his brother, before looking at Anna "I see, you have the daughter of Pearl with you, I suppose you are trying to get into the tomb"
Stefan raised a brow as he was mistaken for doing something he planned to do later in the future because Anna, but he didn't correct him and just let him continue with his theory.
"So why are we busting into that tomb?" Damon asked impatient to meet the love of his life.
"Hopefully not now, we still have things to do, like father's betraying with working with Joseph to sell us out" said Stefan as he glared at Giuseppe.
"Believe me, I did not know about the awful experiment they were conducting" said Giuseppe.
Stefan scoffed at his words "even if you do know, you would still have sold us off, correct?" He asked to which Giuseppe nodded.
"You are monsters that has to be put down, and you made me one also which I will eternally be hateful of. If you being locked up in these cages and being experimented on, will mean you will never live to see the light again, then I will satisfied as that is the punishment that befits you" said Giuseppe without hiding anything.
He has been frustrated that he can never go a single day without thinking of blood and following the commands he got from Stefan, he hates it and want out but everything he tries to stake himself, he will always remember what Stefan told him before he left Mystic Falls 'remember this, your life is no longer yours, it now belongs to me and mine for the taking, you can never kill yourself no matter the circumstances. I gave you this new life and it is who can end it'
"Well I can put you out of your misery, just say the word" said Damon as he smirked at his father.
"That won't be necessary, I still have use for him" said Stefan as he looked at Aurora who nodded at him before walking towards her grandfather.
"Hello gramps, I wish we would have met under different circumstances, where you are not an ass" said Aurora as she placed her hands on the chest of Giuseppe and chant the spells for a dessication spell.
Giuseppe began to dessicated as he looked into the eyes of his supposed granddaughter as if she was another monster.
A few minutes later, Giuseppe body completely turned grey as he fell to the ground.
Stefan carried and put him in his car boots and closed him "hop in brother, we have a funeral to hold" said Stefan as he and Aurora got inside the car.
"So what are you going to do from here on Enzo?" Damon asked.
"Maybe stick around for a bit and getting my bearings before I think of anything else" said Enzo.
"Alright, you are welcome to join us" said Damon as he opened the door of the car for Enzo.
Enzo smiled at Damon before he entered the car with Damon following suit.
Stefan started the car and drove in the direction of Mystic Falls where he intend to bury Giuseppe in the family crypt.
"Alright girls, wrap this up and let's be on our way, I have a brother to chase" said Elijah as he stopped still as he watched the girls compel the group of people who came to look at what happened with the Whitmore House to make a believable story to tell the authorities.

"What do you even intend to do with Giuseppe anyway. I say we just stake him and be done with it, there is no big a deal there" said Damon who was already holding a wooden stake ready to put Giuseppe out of his misery.
"He is going to be important in the future, you won't get it now but one day you are going to understand my reasons for doing things" said Stefan as he looked at where he has hidden the body of Julian.
He has big plans for the future for the both of them.
After they buried Giuseppe, Stefan secretly gave Damon some of his useful skills and Enzo what he gave to Anna, like the flight and lesser blood control.
After that, Stefan took to show her around Mystic Falls, her hometown.
And with that, time flew very fast, Enzo finally reunited with his love and turned her into a vampire so that they can live together forever, Damon was still obsessed with opening the tomb that he took Anna with him to look for a willing Bennett witch as the ones in Mystic Falls are proving stubborn.
Stefan and Aurora just toured around the world and even forgot about looking for Klaus as Stefan knew that he will surely appear when the time is right, so he wasn't that worried.
It was Elijah who now put it upon himself to find his brother and make him take responsibility for his actions, he took Lexi and Seline in his search for Klaus.
