Chapter 10: Don't thank me!! Part 2
Vishwaprit and Setupati left the house with their companions. Their vehicles started traveling the road towards Shastriji's Aashram.

Shastriji came out of his residence and looked around carefully. He saw one of his elder students coming out of the room filled with those creatures. He called him and said,
"Dhanesh, call a gathering of all the students after the rituals. We have some tasks to complete."
The student nodded with respect and said,
"Yes, almost. We will be ready before his arrival. Ms. Meera is collecting some herbs and soil from the garden. I'm going to collect other material from the store which we ordered last night."
"When did we order the material?" Shastriji asked with surprise.
"Ms. Meera ordered this list last night itself."
He explained and showed a list of ingredients held in his hand.
Shastriji looked at the list and read the ingredients. There were plenty of unknown things she had ordered along with the ones Shastriji needed for the ritual. He handed over the list back to the student and left. He was looking for Meera.
Shastriji reached the garden. His eyes couldn't believe the scene he was looking at. Meera and Raghav were collecting herbs while talking to each other, and smiling after every two sentences. He sensed some warnings into his head. But he had trust into her daughter that she can choose what was the best for her.
He ignored the disturbing thoughts and called her in a lower voice,
"Beta Meera?"
"Yes Father?" She replied.
"Are all the ingredients collected or you need any help?" Shastriji asked.
"No Father. It's almost done. Raghav here, helped me in it. We are just going to collect some sacred soil, then we will be done here." She expressed her gratitude towards Raghav.
Shastriji didn't like the feeling of Raghav helping out his daughter, who was fully capable of doing her own tasks and more, without anyone's help. The father inside him didn't approve their closing friendship. He pretended not to be bothered and said,
"Ok. I will be in the ritual room." He left.
Raghav was giving Shastriji a smile but Shastriji didn't attend him. He felt disappointed but he didn't mind. He immediately resumed his conversion with Meera and the garden filled with happiness again.

They all had gathered in the big room filled with screams of those monsterous creatures! They all were scared inside though they were not showing it. Their loud screams were penetrating everyone's eardrums. But they had hope and it was going to reach there anytime.
Amidst of all the silence of normal people and screams of monsters, Vishwaprit and Setupati entered the room. Everybody was staring at Vishwaprit, and Setupati walking beside him. They looked confident to Shastriji, considering the situation. Vishwaprit's aura filled the room, everybody felt his power. Even the monsters stopped screaming and started looking at him.
They came to Shastriji and bowed their head to pay the appropriate respect to Shastriji. He then bent down and touched Shastriji's feet.
Shastriji welcomed him and blessed him by patting on his head.
Raghav and Ganesh standing beside saw them. Raghav wondered about Vishwaprit!
The one who possess so much power that world's fate was depended on him, how that person really be?
But more he observed Vishwaprit, more he realised how much humble and real human he was! He admired his simplicity. It was uncommon these days. He noticed that Ganesh also admired Vishwaprit. Raghav was relieved to know that the one who was going to protect the humanity was really a deserving one.
Vishwaprit looked towards Raghav and Ganesh, and paid his respect by casually bowing his head.
They bowed their heads in return.
Shastriji, then, stood up from his seat and asked Vishwaprit to sit in front of sacred fire.
"We have to start the rituals as soon as possible, son." He said.
"Yes, of course!" Vishwaprit replied humbly.
"We have hundreds of creatures here to treat. If we try to turn them back one by one, it will be tedious and ineffective. Hence we have decided to perform this ritual to enhance your power of influence, so that all of them can be turned back." Shastriji explained Vishwaprit the need of the ritual.
Vishwaprit nodded his head and sat opposite to Shastriji, facing the sacred fire. Shastriji started chanting Sanskrit mantras. He was requesting all the gods to bless them with their grace.
His chanting was continued for half an hour. He added different kinds of mysterious things into the fire. Every little thing he added, had a meaning. Vishwaprit could feel the power of fire increasing. Something inside him was getting stronger. He could feel the god's presence inside him. The temperature of his body started rising gradually. His body looked like it was glowing as the power inside him kept rising. Shastriji then stopped chanting and looked at the fire with strong gaze, and said,
"I, Shastri Shripad, demand all of you to bless this child with the power to claim these unclaimed lives and take them into his wings. He is the one who has the power, he is the one who was born to protect them. Lord bless him." He finished.
Vishwaprit felt the impact of Shastriji's powerful words. His body temperature kept rising. He closed his eyes and focused on the source of his power. He could feel the presence of unprotected lives he wanted to claim. He directed his power towards the souls caged in the darkness and he opened his eyes.
Everybody saw the light emitting through Vishwaprit's body, reached the creatures and touched their souls. Their eyes turned red to brown. The lust of blood disappeared from their faces and it was replaced with gratitude mixed with fear. The room was filled with the light, like heaven.
'He is truly the one!', Meera thought to herself after witnessing the true power of the promised one.
The room was drop dead silent. Everyone was looking at Vishwaprit. The newly turned people started looking at him as if he was a god! They knelt down and started showing their gratitude. Tears started flowing down from the eyes of some of them. One of them came forward and touched Vishwaprit's feet and said,
"We don't have enough words to show our gratitude, but from now onwards, we only follow you, our lord. You're the only one we worship. You have protected us when all the god had left us. You gave us a second chance to live this human life. We'll make sure to make it worth."
Hearing his words, the one from the people who were turned back last night by Vishwaprit's touch, came forward and joined in touching his feet. He also expressed his feelings through words saying,
"We'll fight with you, until our last breath. You have given us this life. We'll make sure to make it worth!"
Vishwaprit touched their heads and made them stand up! He blessed them through his eyes and smiled at them.
Shastriji kept looking at the success of his ritual and felt proud. He also looked at Vishwaprit with immense love and respect. He wondered, how much powerful was he!!
Raghav wasn't able to believe his eyes but he was ready to accept anything after witnessing the bloody battle from last night and seeing the monsters turning back to human by Vishwaprit's power.
'He is truly very powerful!'
He thought to himself.
Setupati was happy after seeing the results of the ritual and he looked at Vishwaprit with smile. Everything was turned out perfectly. He sensed some changes into the mind world. He noticed that the minds of all the humans blessed by Vishwaprit were connected to each other. They were able to communicate with each other through mind. Also they were connected to Vishwaprit's mind. They were truly his soldiers. They all were ready to follow him to death.
Shastriji was looking at Vishwaprit, he also didn't have words to thank him. Still he thought of expressing his feelings and said,
"Vishwaprit, god has blessed us in your form. We shouldn't disrespect you by thanking you again and again. But we still have to."
"Don't thank me, Shastriji. My mother and father went through countless hardships to be able to give me birth. So, I will do everything in my power to protect this world from the evil, as they wanted me to. My blood and my life is the gift my parents gave the world. If you truly want to thank anyone, thank them, and the god who blessed me. And I'm the one who should be thanking you. You walked into the dark realm without even thinking about your life, only to save me. I should be thanking you!" Vishwaprit replied with true emotions.
"No, son Vishwaprit. It is my duty to look after all of you being the elder one. I was just doing my duty. But the lord of mind realm rescued both of us. He was amazing. Wasn't he?" Shastriji replied.
"No doubt in that!" Vishwaprit commented and looked at Setupati.
Setupati smilingly accepted his compliment.
Raghav heard their conversation and realized Setupati's powers.
'These two powerful men make a good team.'
He thought to himself and missed being in Kalshrung's skin. He wanted to go on a run tonight, just to make sure everything was fine in the city.
Kalshrung was getting excited! He had to hunt tonight.
