Chapter 8: Ch-8 Waking up. Free Breathing style (ARC-1)
Kyouku opened his eyes. What he saw was a ceiling. A ceiling. A ceiling! I was in a damn forest not a house Kyouku said to himself. Oh, you are awake it took you a day and a half to wake up. My name is Akio by the way said the brown haired girl which just entered the room.
Where exactly I am said Kyouku putting all his acting skills in it. Sorry, I forgot to tell you are in Demon Slayer corps butterfly mansion. You should not worry so much Mr Rengoku the man who rescued you will explain it to you. I am just calling him said the Akimo and walked out of the room. A thought came into his mind why will a Hashira waste his time for a rescued person like me? If that girl is right he had to wait for a day and a half. There are only two possibilities the first one is he is in a really bad shape and the second one in that he has some business with me like asking about how I defeated the demon or how I have the Nichirin sword. The first possibility is cut out because why in an injured state will he meet me.
Soon Kyouku's thoughts were interrupted by Akimo and the person who walked with her Kyojuro Rengoku. Rengoku just looked same as the anime version completely same. Wearing the same uniform.
My name is Kyojuro Rengoku! I am a Hashira in the Demon Slayer Corps. Perhaps you like to talk in a small tone Rengoku san the patient has just waked up and his senses are a little dull we do not want him to get shocked or something said Akimo from behind. I will take care of that you can go!
But, I need to do an analysis on the patient as he has just waked up Mr Rengoku replied Akimo. Kyojuro kept staring at her with a smile on his face. Ok, as you say Rengoku san I will go but the most time I can give you is twenty minutes said Akimo accepting her defeat and going away. Personality is also the same as the anime thought Kyouku.
So, as I said my name is Kyojuro Rengoku. Can you tell me your name said Kyojuro? My name is Kyouku Tsugikuni replied Kyouku. Tsugikuni…. I have heard that name! But, I don't know about it! I think my father mentioned it once said Kyojuro. Excuse me, but can you please tell me about that creature that attacked me and killed my parents while looking down the bed sheet trying to make a sorrowful face with his great acting skills.
Kyouku I understand your pain how it feels that your parents has died and you can do nothing about it the creature that killed your father and mother was a demon said Kyojuro as the smile vanished from his face. What! A demon it can't be a demon it's just folklore replied Kyouku in a fake confused tone.
Demons are real Kyouku. You see there was this one demon Muzan Kibutsuji he was born generations ago and as a demon he was immortal and by giving his blood to others making them demons too and his servants. We demon slayer corps are trying to kill that demon king for so long so we can kill all the demons and stop this rampage. The demons as you know can be only killed by cutting their neck. The neck too should only be cut by the a special sword made out of Nichirin metal as it is the only metal which can absorb sunlight which is life threating for demons. I am quite shocked that you also had Nichirin sword may I ask you from where did you get it said Kyojuro?
My father presented it to me after buying it from a merchant replied Kyouku. Kyouku now I need to ask you something which is very important as I saw you killing that demon in your first try. Do you want to learn swordsman ship from me and before you answer I need to explain you something the swordsman ship I am talking about is not normal. It is one of the great breathing forms in which you utilise your breathing and concentrate it to increase your body movements.
It is known as Flame Breathing before Kyojuro can continue explaining Kyouku said Yes, I will learn. If it will let me avenge my parents and remove this menace from the earth. A smile appeared on Kyojuro's face as he says let's start the training.
Then Kyojuro took him to his residence and while going he explained to Kyouku all about the demon slayer corps and demons.
