Chapter 14: Chapter 14: Regular Days!

Sigh, +30 is insane! Sigh.

I finished my business and stood up. I told Jason that I will be cleaning up and go to sleep. Jason nodded and informed Shina.

Tomorrow will be another start of the school week, and I'll be meeting that annoying bastard again. How lamenting was that!? I'd rather grind my skill or kill monsters than dealing with that shitty kid for weeks! I wonder though if he made improvements with his level. Nonetheless, he is still fucking annoying!

I washed, dressed up to my sleeping attire, moved on from my thinking mind, and slept.

//

A new day has started for me. Monday is the most annoying day for me since I was transmigrated from this world. Why? One name, Fahramis. That fuckin' annoying kid. 8 years old and already this annoying, what would happen if we grew up!? That shit will keep on challenging me until he gets his wins!

Hey, I'd rather win and get annoyed than lose and get annoyed by that kid.

"Young master, the car's ready." Jason notified.

"Ah yeah, let's go." I snapped back from my busy thoughts.

//

I arrived inside the classroom and found that shit kid staring at me as shard as a razor blade. God. When will this kid move on from his life? Sigh.

I sat and waited for Teacher Felix to start the class. Today was the battle class, again. Thinking about it makes my head hurts. Not about the class but about a kid. Yeah, Fahramis alright. I should rather call this Monday a "Fahramis" day. Yes, that should be the name of every Mondays. I laughed hard in my mind while listening to teacher Felix, who already arrived while I'm in my thoughts.

//

Teacher Felix didn't ask us anymore so me and Fahramis went on with the decorum of introducing our levels.

"Level 11." I started the introduction. Everyone's expression, who heard what I've said, changed. They were shocked to learn that from last week's level 5, I've become level 11!

"How is that possible!?" Fahramis uttered, his expression told me that he's terrified of my fast leveling up!

"Uh, I killed monsters?" I spoke the obvious, of course, why would I tell them my secret, earning experience points not only from killing monsters but from my system's quests too? I'd be dumb and stupid if I did that.

"How!?" Fahramis didn't want to move on so I initiated.

"You level please!? I'd rather have this class be done immediately!" I used a template, the "Arrogant Young Master" template. I giggled when I thought of this strategy.

"Arrogant! I'll definitely smack that shmuck of a face you have!" Fahramis was definitely provoked. It worked!

"Heh~ Do the talk or just scram!" I replied.

"Gnnnng! Level 14! Let's fight!" Fahramis spoke fast and positioned himself to launch an immediately attack at me.

How naive, kid. I'm already faster than you, your stats are a mess!

Teacher Felix, on the other hand, just listened and when it was his turn, he coughed and said, "Finished? Let's start the battle! Again, both competitors, please be reminded that never hit sensitive areas, so please refrain from fully assaulting and injuring your classmates!" After that, both I and Fahramis started our battle.

//

Fahramis, as I expected, used his mana to launch an attack directly at me. His sword was already prepared to be swung, it felt like he really wanted to chop me off in half, fortunately, we're using wooden swords with blunt edges. Still, being hit by it will definitely hurt a lot.

With my added agility, Fahramis' movements were like slow motion to me now. How high was his agility? It's definitely mediocre at best, probably focused his stats on mana and strength. Not that he had a choice to allot them, but his practice and how he hunts, determined that.

Anyway, his sword strike attempt failed. That was also determined, heh~

After missing, Fahramis tried to recover, again, but how would I let that happen? Although he's much better than last week, his movements were still sluggish. It was trash if I compared it to Jason's movements. Of course, why not? Jason's level spoke itself while me and Fahramis were toddlers' level at best.

I dodged on the left and swung the wooden sword toward Fahramis' nape again. Let me see if Fahramis had any improvements on this move. Of course, it was much faster than before, my agility and strength were improved since last week, that was freaking 6 levels difference from before.

I saw Fahramis tried to dodge it, which made me surprised, he seemed to be learning quite well from my attacks. However, Fahramis didn't take into account that my attacks would be much faster than before, so, before he'd be able to dodge, my wooden sword landed on his nape and this with added strength, made his eyes rolled. His eyes were all white. He lost consciousness.

Teacher Felix quickly declared my win and closed in on Fahramis to check his status. Teacher Felix sighed after knowing Fahramis' health status, he's just unconscious.

He stood up and said to me, "Good work, Philip." He smiled at me and carried Fahramis out of the battle arena to the school's infirmary.

Me, on the other hand, sat on the side and watched my other classmates fight each other, no one challenged me aside from Fahramis. What a boring class, I rather grind my skill than waste time here. I got no choice though.

//

Another week has passed for me and the lessons for the past days were superficial at best, still, helpful for me since they added new information to my knowledge. As for my skill improvement, I did the usual 6 hours grinding. I could do 10,000 sword swings per hour, so, I was able to finish 60,000 sword swings a day.

In total, I did 300,000 sword swings. I didn't buy [Low-Grade Proficiency Potion] as I saw the system selling intermediate and advanced versions. The prices though were abysmally expensive.

[Intermediate-Grade Proficiency Potion]

[TYPE: CONSUMABLE]

[LEVEL: -]

[DURATION: 24 HR]

[EFFECTS: USER GAINS *3 PROFICIENCY POINTS]

[DESCRIPTION: CREATED BY A MASTER POTIONEER]

[PRICE: 10,000 SYSTEM POINTS]

[Advanced-Grade Proficiency Potion]

[TYPE: CONSUMABLE]

[LEVEL: -]

[DURATION: 7 DAYS]

[EFFECTS: USER GAINS *5 PROFICIENCY POINTS]

[DESCRIPTION: CREATED BY A MASTER POTIONEER]

[PRICE: 50,000 SYSTEM POINTS]

Yep. I only got 3,000 plus system points at the moment, so, I would rather save up and buy either the intermediate or advanced ones. Additional to that, asking status information from the system costs system points! What a vicious business man it is!

*System: ....*

As for the status of my skill [Sword Mastery (PASSIVE)]:

[Skills Tab:]

[Sword Mastery (PASSIVE)] [Level 63] [Proficiency Points: 19,413/21,000]

[Basic Sword Skill, increases mastery of the sword]

[+0.64% Damage using swords]

[+0.64% Sword Skill (ACTIVE) damage]

It has taken be great pains to swing my sword 10,000 times per hour but now, to level up, it needs at least around 20,000 swings, this made me shocked and terrified. If I get my skill to maximum level of 100, how many sword swings would that be!?

One great news though, was that, I completed a mission!

[CONGRATULATIONS! MISSION "LEVEL UP SKILL TO LEVEL 60" HAS BEEN COMPLETED]

[REWARD: +10,000 EXP, +5,000 SYSTEM POINTS]

And thus, I leveled up. Of course, I put the points towards the usual place, 2 for strength and agility, 1 for mana.

[Status Tab:]

[HP: 1,350/1,350]

[MP: 450/450]

[Title: Son of Von Hausers, Clan Member of Von Hausers, Direct Descendant of Von Hauser Line, Elite Monster Hunter, Newbie Dungeoneer]

[Title Effect: +3 Luck, +5% Monster Damage, +1% Loot Drop Chance]

[Class: -]

[Subclass: -]

[Level: 12]

[Experience: 4,377/6,200]

[Free Points: 0]

[Strength: 25]

[Agility: 25]

[Mana: 13]

[Buff: -]

[Buff Effect: -]

[Buff Duration: -]

As for the effect of this stat increase: [Effects: +73.5 Defense (+16 – Armor Defense) (+40 – Accessory Defense) (+17.50 – Strength Stat Effect), +69.30 Damage (+25 Weapon Damage) (+16 – Skill Effect) (+3.30 – Title Effect) (+25 – Strength Stat Effect), +20% Damage Absorption from Slime-Type Monsters]

My joy ended though when the system got me my new mission.

[NEW MISSION ALERT!]

[MISSION 20: LEVEL UP SKILL TO LEVEL 80]

[REWARD: +20,000 EXP, +10,000 SYSTEM POINTS]

Sigh, I need to grind for at least two more weeks to complete this mission.

//

My hunting weekend came and as soon as the alarm clock rang, I got up and prepared. I'm also excited to see if my theory was right, I need 10,000 slimes to get a new dungeon.

I went out as usual, with Jason hiding. Shina gave me my food and we exited the southern gates. I greeted the same guard and followed through the same path I usually take.

Within the last 5 days, 50,000 slimes were spawned, so, I'd like to clean these pests fast.

I started at 6 in the morning and hunted these newly spawned slimes at the southern gates as fast as I could. This hunting session also tested me on how to kill slimes the fastest possible way. That was to take advantage of my agility and handling of my sword. I guess, I need to replace it soon too.

//

Lunch arrived and I stopped hunting these slimes.

The total kills were 6,000 slimes. That was a total of 6,000 [Sword Mastery (PASSIVE)] proficiency points, 12,000 experience points, 60 [Slime Core], 1,200 [Slime Fragment Core], and 4,200 [Slime].

Due to these earnings, I leveled up twice and improved my defense and offensive prowess. I also leveled up my skill to level 64.
