Chapter 21: Authors Note
Wow, guys! I appreciate all the support. I never expected some people to actually enjoy the story, I'm always trying to improve it when I can man. This was originally a project I took on because I couldn't sleep more than 4 hours for some reason. We finally reached Ch. 20, I've never written anything so long before or even attempted something of this magnitude and it's honestly been pretty fun y'all. I am considering taking a break for a day or two and then dropping a mass release of 3 chapters on Tuesday or something. If y'all like the idea let me know.
Also, if y'all have any dope art that you maybe want to see on the cover, or any ideas for our mutual friend's hero costume feel free to post them in this chapter. I have an idea for how I want his hero outfit to look, but if anyone has any better ideas, I will 100% implement them and credit you.
Hopefully, our boy learns to control his demonic urges soon y'all otherwise I don't see how he will be able to stay working with the bat. I think the only reason he's still there, is that Batman is too scared to cut him loose. He'd rather have him under his and the Justice League's control than some other guy with horrible intentions. He can tell Will is at a period in his life where he could easily be influenced either way.
Another thing I've been noticing is that ppl are not really believing his age and whatnot or he's too emotional and stupid or whatever. He's not an adult yet, and he's a child who went through a whole lot of traumatic shit early on. Now he has hit demon puberty, I suppose you could call it, and he's got the motherfucker inside of him influencing all his emotions trying to control him on top of everything that's going on. He wants to be a better person and feels like he needs to be and looks up to batman for his sheer balls, skill, and sees him as his only way out. So he desperately wants to impress him but because of everything going on he can't really live up to how he wants to be. His whole personality right now is incongruent purposefully. Most criminals aren't very smart or rational and that's literally who he's spent most of his formative years around. Eventually, I will have him become more congruent, it will just take time.
I got in so much trouble back then. Also sorry for so much dialogue at times, I had a hard time figuring out how to write. I've never done it before, I just wanted to establish his personality was all and make him seem well flawed.
Also, if there are any fights or something you really are dying to see in this story just post it here and I will see it. If I really like the idea, I will credit you in the author's notes and implement the idea.
