Chapter 61: A disastrous breakfast.

"Mmm?"

Eruca mumbled as she woke up from a good rest. She stretched her body and yawned lazily. She felt refreshed and energized for the time first time in a while. These past few days she wasn't able to get much sleep since she was either stuck in that dark and damp dungeon or the forest filled with howling beasts.

'It came at a price, though...'

Although she didn't have much of a choice but to rely on a suspicious stranger, she wasn't sure if she made the right decision. Many things could go wrong. She might be trapped here if the white-haired boy turned out to have ulterior motives.

Come to think of it, she had a strange feeling when she first met him. It felt...weirdly familiar. A feeling she has felt many times before. But she couldn't put her finger on what it was...
