"What do you mean, dear?" Carol stopped cutting the vegetables and raised her head to look at her husband who was brooding.
Henry was a middle aged man, with a pencil behind his ear.
Currently he was slumped on his chair, his working table was strewn with papers messily and an open laptop.
"You already know Carol, I've been working on this dream for 5 years, I've made the profiles of countless characters, written many interesting arcs, his interactions, the growth of side characters, I gave countless hours for this story."
"I've been seeing the same story in my dreams in my younger days for years, I wanted to bring it to life, but even by giving it so much of my effort I just don't know why I can't actually put it on paper...
I think I'm done, I've given enough effort, As much as I love the adventures of the young William, I think I'm finally giving up on him... And it hurts..", Henry looked at his beautiful wife with a forced smile.
Carol delicately removed her apron, washed her hands and stood behind Henry then hugged him from behind.
"You've been working on this for as long as I remember, day and night, with a crazy smile on your face, how can you give up now?"
She then lightly kissed his head, then tightened her hug then let go slowly.
"Don't worry, how about I continue your legacy?"
