Chapter 2: The adventure begins
it's have been 2 years since I have been reborn in to this world and mom has been working her tail of to keep the house together and I can tell she is pushing herself Abit to much.
James: mama slow down you going to get sick.(worriedly)
mom: oh sweetie you don't have to worry about mommy..
James: yes I do since mama worries about me I worry about mama.
mom: ok baby I will.
Mom flops down on the couch while I climb up and sit down by her side and ask a question that has been eating at me for a while.
James: mama I was wondering where is daddy? how come he isn't here to help?
At this mom just sighs and she shivers then start to rub my head between my ears.
Mom: I figured you would ask but just not this soon my little cub but I guess you need to know eventually but you have to promise not to go hating any of the humans it's something your father wouldn't want.
James: I promise mama, why did humans kill daddy?
Mom: yes and no you see after I was confirmed pregnant with you your father went in the city to get a few things and since he had retired he hardly carried his weapon but he carried his license but when he got the the city the white fang had attacked a factory not to far and your father ran to help despite being unarmed he cleared out as many people as he could but a human soldier had mistaken him for a white fang member and shot him while he was defending a worker From the fang so his aura was focused in front of him shot he was defenseless to his rear and was shot the soldier searched him and found his id and came to me and told me what happened and he had promised to compensate the two of us for his mistake which is why each month you have seen a soldier doing the stuff neither of us is strong enough to do.
James: oh so that is why a soldier comes to the house, but mama you told me that everyone makes mistakes I'm not going to hate all humans for the mistake of one sure I wish I could have met papa but the fact that I know the truth just means that I have to do my best to help my mama.
All while mom told me the story on how dad died she was on the edge of crying but she just hugged me and started crying the moment I said this and her tail was curled up as close as she could.
Mom: thank you little one here in a bit I'll call over a old friend and ask him to bring his little girl for you to play with you been so busy helping me you need to st least have a friend would you like that?
James: as long as your ok mama I don't mind.
mom looks over at just laughs and rubs my head again.
Mom: learn to control that tail of yours it whipping up a storm I'll call him over and see if he can bring his daughter to.
James: mmmm okay mom should I pull out the pot for dinner?
mom: thanks little one.
mom just walks out of the living room abit lighter as if a burden has been lift a she pulls out her Scoll and makes a call while I'm in the kitchen pulling out pots and i overhear her on the phone.
Mom: hey Tai how are you been?
Tai: Tina it's rare for you to call me what do I owe the pleasure?
mom: just wanted to see if you want to come over for dinner James has been rather lonely and I was think maybe letting him and your girl play around for a bit?
Tai: sounds good truth be told I can't keep up with her at the moment so sure I think it would be rather fun we'll be over in about three to four hours I just have to chase yang down.
mom: oh poor Tai sounds like you have it bad?
Tai: trust me you have no idea but we'll see you in a bit.* hangs up*
