Chapter 9: Ch.8 [ Bunker ]
{ Reader POV }
As Haruna came to she looked held her head and shook it slightly to disperse the slight drowsiness the felt. getting off the ground she looked around and took in her surroundings. she was in a cubic box and there was a fence like metal wall in front of her, Haruna jumped up into a striking position as her first thought was that she was captured again. But looking around again she found a handle on the wall in front of her and there was a small box which had buttons with different buttons on it hanging close to her. taking a moment to take it in she slightly lowered her guard and asked herself, "Isn't this an elevator?"
Sighing heavily Haruna relaxed and inspected the box dangling close to her. "Looks like there are 3 different floors." she mumbled to herself and slowly pressed the first button and waited for any sort of reaction, only to be met with silence.
Frowning she pressed the the button again a few times and then stopped and looked around again. Seeing the handle on the wall in front of her she caught a hold of it and moved it to the side sliding the door open.
Stepping out into the room she looks around. It was a library, though there weren't many books from what she could see but the whole room was littered with scrolls. Excited at what the scrolls could contain she walks around and picks out a few from the closest shelf.
The first few scrolls were on topics like 'Gravity Seals for Beginners' and 'Basics of Restraint Seals' which if she could make use of would be incredibly beneficent to her and the later ones ones more basic ones like 'Detection Seals and its Uses'
Putting the scrolls back Haruna decided to explore the other two floors as well before she started studying Fuinjutsu.
Getting back on the elevator she closed the entrance and pressed the second button. There was a slow rumbling and the elevator started to move. A few moments later the elevator stopped moving and so did the rumbling sound. Waiting for a few seconds Haruna slid open the door and walked out.
What greeted her was a wide empty space which she presumed was for training. Looking around the place it resembled a big dome more than a room and there were other areas like a lake a small forest and a plain.
After walking around the 2nd floor for some more time Haruna had a small smile on her face imagining the things she could benefit from here. With her natural talent for fuinjutsu as an Uzumaki and the training ground she could increase her power significantly and there was now a suitable place for her to do something she could not do in the last year.
Still in her thoughts Haruna headed for the elevator to go see the last floor. Immensely satisfied with the first two floors Haruna headed to the last floor with a little bit of excitement.
As the elevator stopped Haruna slid open the door and stepped out to the last floor and found herself in a cave. Slightly confused she walked further where there was light coming from.
Outside the cave the first thing that Haruna saw was the ocean. slowly she walked towards the beach.
Once she reached the beach she went towards the water and soon was in it waist deep. The smell of vomit on her had been bothering her for some time now. taking a dip and coming back to the surface she moved her wet hair out of her face and heaved out a heavy sigh.
Now that she had stopped moving around the feeling of freedom slowly crept into her heart and a small smile once again appeared on her face before vanishing completely as her anger showed on her face.
"I'll show them, i'll show them all." She swore to herself.
