Chapter 258: A Gorgeous Bride

Abigail woke up to the gentle patter of rain upon her window, droplets yet to scatter the nascent rays of the rising sun. She sprawled on the bed, caressing the soft sheet as her eyes fluttered open. 

"Adrian..." She called sweetly turning her head to the opposite side but he wasn't beside her. 

"Adrian," Abigail lazily rolled out of the bed, holding the sheet up to cover her nudeness. She looked towards the bedside table and saw some freshly picked wild roses. Beside the roses was a folded handwritten note.

Abigail's face brightened up as she picked up the roses and brought them up to her nose. She closed her eyes and inhaled the natural aphrodisiac scent of the rose flower as memories of the previous night with her lover drifted across her mind.
