Kieran Stormrider is a person with a curse. On his tenth birthday marking the beginning of his journey as a wizard, he awakens his innate ability that connects him to the underworld, and nearly wipes out his entire village. His power led to him being ostracized by his community.

The world has changed, and magic rules humanity empowering major personalities all across the globe. Misuse of magic powers and the war between man and the alien species known as the Shale. Using the power of magic, the war between both races had arrived at a stalemate.

It was only meant to be an isolated incident, he was never meant to loose control again, but one day as he was home alone, the power of the voice overcame his senses.
