So that's the way you want things to be.
He didn't try anymore. almost two hours trying to dialogue. without achieving anything. the more the vampire in bat form almost escaped, the more tired he got.
He locked him in a small cage of shadows to make him return to his full form. and using a piece of wood from a broken table... covering his eyes with the shadows alma killed him without him noticing it.
killing him didn't even give him the experience to level him up. but what interested alma was this vampire's soul... being immortal was tempting and as far as he knew. stealing essence had to give him that ability as long as he adsorbed the full soul after killing him.
[Are you sure you want to absorb a vampire's soul?]
[yes] [no]
soul pressed yes but another notification jumped
[it may entail a minor or major race change. do you still want to do it?]
alma furrowed her eyebrows at that.. wanted to be a vampire?.... being one was great. but having a weakness to the sun and garlic sucked...
sitting on the bed again. alma started to think. this was an important decision in his life and future. being a gambler he didn't know if he was immortal or not...
And he wasn't such an idiot to say no to immortality.
Looking at the red soul that was still floating in the mortal world under the influence of the soul system he decided... what difference does it make? Living in the sunlight is overrated... the best always happens in the dark nights.

an unbelievable pain ran through his whole body.. a burning and unbearable pain controlled his body. his ears became pricked. his skin became clear to a level that he was almost pale dead. his eyes became blood red. he grew two sharp fangs. and his body grew a little bit.
but during this whole process not even the player's mind could keep him awake.

opening his eyes somewhat irritated and annoyed for some reason. soul looked up at the now familiar ceiling above his head.
"It was all a dream?"
he looked down at the floor not far from the bed. and confirmed that it wasn't a dream last night... there really were vampires in this world.
And not only that. He was now a vampire... and according to the memories of this dead vampire... because there were almost no humans in the world the creatures that were hiding before were coming back to earth.
It would take a while. but in a few years the whole earth will be plagued by mythological beasts... and that scared him... if those creatures existed the gods too?
What can he do...against gods?

looking at the soul notice he looked at where he felt pain. his hand was burning from being exposed to the sun.
Isn't weakness to the sun a bit high for a vampire?... wrinkling his eyebrows alma moved away from the window and using his shadows he covered the window with a piece of cloth.

seeing that new passive ability. alma would be sure to level it up even if it hurt.. but for now he had to see his current state.

even though not being able to go out in the sun sucked. he was confident that he could get over it. after all he has an eternity to get over it.
Some time later, a calmer soul began to recall the memories of the vampire he ate, looking for ways to use his powers.
First of all, he seems to have some range of Telekinesis... also Hypnotic Eyes... able to make a conscious being follow a vampire's will and can produce moon pearls?
He can also levitate at will, has great speed... great regeneration... and Nicromancy. a magic that vampires master very well... raising the dead to serve them.
other than that.. there wasn't much else.. though from what he knows. it seems that every vampire has their unique ability. and from what he can see in his state it's something to do with familiars..
touching his unique ability. soul read the ability. and by the time he was done his eyes were really weirded out.
Isn't this Hellsing's alucar power?.. he really didn't expect to get an innate ability that belonged to a fictional character...
"Wait, if it's Hellsing's ability, then..."
looking up at his shadow soul he could see it through the blanket of darkness. a small pool of almost 2000 souls drifting inside his shadow or soul.....
Okay... I really didn't expect this... and I have no idea whether to rejoice or curse that now I will always have to look at the souls I ate.
sighing soul. he touched the vampire's body. big mistake. as soon as he touched it it turned to ash.. he has to say that for a vampire who is supposed to be handsome. this vampire and the ones from his memories. they are all ugly and dwarfed. with no hair at all.
just be thankful that the same thing didn't happen to him and even his charm stat was triggered again. giving a little flick of his wrist. the ash was expelled from this room. and soul seeing that he couldn't get out of the sun. he started training his vampire skills. especially telekinesis.. he knew from so many anime comics and such that this skill had a lot of potential.
or rather it gave him a lot of variety. with a soulful thought he watched as the shadows distorted into a dark being made of nothing but shadows.
The red eyes of the vampire he killed before were completely free of any thought...
"I wonder if anything happens to him in the sunlight?"
With curiosity piqued soul ordered the vampire's soul to stand in front of the window and let the sunlight hit it.
well he's not burning... so I guess he doesn't have a problem with the sunlight... soul nodded at that... he really had to stand guard during the day now... because he can't go out...
I think I'll sleep until nightfall...
Looking towards the window, alma sighed and let his body fall back against the bed.
