Chapter 265: Neo is Neo
They walked, they spoke, and ultimately they kissed, that was how Aegis and Neo's date went, after days of relaxing the calm like before storm atmosphere did get on Neo's nerves, and so she just took Aegis by hand and dragged him out, which changed into them spending time with just two of them, trying and enjoying the city's attractions, which weren't much, at least not to Neo's tastes that were horribly spoiled by both Solitas standards and Aegis willingness to never skimp on his loved ones, something Neo did abuse a lot...
Still, there were quite a few places Neo liked, and she took Aegis to them, walking hand by hand, Aegis from time to time could see some bystanders looking at them strangely, at first Aegis thought it was because Neo being petite and so thinking she was child, even with her very mature hips and chest that clearly showed Neo's true maturity, but after noticing the fear in someone's eyes when they saw Neo, Aegis knew this had something to do with Neo's nighty walks but Aegis chose not to comment on it when he saw how Neo enjoyed the fear, something that made wryly smile, Aegis still didn't understand why so many women in his life were soo...
Bloodthirsty... Maybe it was his fault? Aegis mused to himself...
Nah, Aegis knew it was, after all, no matter how much he hid it, Aegis knew that from time to time, his eyes betrayed his true apathy for others, something people who lived with him clearly noticed by now...
/Hey! No daydreaming with me! Or was my kiss that boring hm?!/
Neo said as she gently slapped Aegis who just smiled at her and kissed Neo on her cheek, making the smaller pouty female lose her pout...
"Sorry, just thought how similar you are to me."
Aegis said with a grin, something Neo, after a while of thinking, returned as she tilted her head to the side.
/So how did you like it?/
"The date? Or the kiss?"
Aegis asked with a grin as Neo smirked.
/Yes./
Neo said and Aegis smiled as he made a thinking expression, just to make Neo falsely pout as she quickly kicked Aegis into his shin...
"Ouch, but yes, I liked it a lot."
Aegis said as Neo looked into his eyes.
/Ooo? Which one? Or both?/
Neo asked, and Aegis grinned.
"Yes."
Aegis said as he returned Neo's previous strike with a grin, which made Neo pout and then quickly grin as she looked around, and as if seeing something she wanted, Neo jumped into Aegis's embrace, her legs locking behind Aegis back, with her hands locking behind Aegis neck as Neo's face was close to Aegis, making Neo look like a koala as she grinned...
But as Neo was about to initiate the make-out with Aegis once more, there was a fake cough behind her, Neo saw Aegis smiling wryly and with a twitching eyebrow, Neo looked behind herself, finding an officer looking at them.
"I will not ask why are you two aren't in school when it is clearly school time as I was too once a teenager, but please take the showing of intimacy to some more secluded place, or better yet, to your home."
The middle-aged officer said, smiling as he saw Neo's eyebrow twitching and Aegis amused expression.
"Yes, we apologize, officer, and thank you for not busting us."
Aegis said as the officer just nodded and mumbled something about kids being kids and walked away, but not before making shoo shoo sound on them, making it clear that he wanted Aegis and Neo away from the public eye...
"Well, will we listen to kind officer and take this home?"
Aegis asked, and Neo, after giving a stinging eye to an officer and sticking out her tongue, just nodded with a pout, still her mood wasn't ruined, something that was surprising...
Still, even before they arrived at their hotel, Aegis and Neo were able to visit three ice-cream shops on the way, with Neo's old ice cream always mysteriously disappearing before she walked into the shop for the new one...

"So what can you tell us about the situation in that world, and speak your mind, Jack, I already read what you wrote and when I remember you from Vietnam, I know you omitted a lot..."
President Al Gore said as he and his chief staff personnel were all present in the oval office, with SG1 and Hammond on video live call...
Jack just cursed under his breath, he already had enough speaking about... Them, plus the fact he didn't truly understand half of the things that were happening in this Solitas, was another point altogether...
"Sir, with all due respect, you should call just Carter or Daniel if you wanted to know about them, I know absolutely nothing when it comes to their... Technology..."
"Well, then it's good I don't want to know just what they use, arent it, Jack? I know you have an eye for it, so why don't you tell us what you think about them fighting Goauld's? Questions about their technology will be asked Major Carter, of that you don't need to worry."
President said with a smirk as Jack cursed, now regretting pranking him when they both served in Vietnam...
"Ok ok ok... Look, we all know what happened to Tollans, and I would say the same about these Solitas guys, but... Where Tollans looked like high tech hippies, these Solitas guys look like high tech war machines, and I don't mean it about their weapons, but about how seriously they took their security, from space guns to ships with space guns, to towers with space guns, and space guns that have space guns! And don't let me start with their archaic yet so fucking working closer combat style! Hell, at least you can see Jaffa move, but these Sentinel's are like fucking supermans quick, at least to my eyes..."
Jack said, but what he didn't say and what they all didn't want to but needed to speak about were the literary legends in closets...
"I see..."
Al Gore said as he looked, they all had video records, the Solitas was strangely open in showing them their capabilities, but one thing struck them most, something that opened a new can of worms...
"Ok, I can see that this conversation brings you a headache... So, a Merlin and an honest to god magic, huh?"
"Oh good, from shit you go into a latrine... Sir..."
Jack said a Carter and others shot him disapproving looks on how he spoke with the president, but both Jack and the president didn't seem to care...
"I think, I think this should say I mister president!"
"Ah! Yea let Jackson speak!"
Jack immediately pipped out as he figuratively threw his teammate under the bus, something that others ignored, even if Daniel threw him a stinking eye...
"Ah yes doctor Jackson, speak your mind, what can you tell us about this... Well, situation?"
Al Gore asked, as he himself truly didn't understand how to, well understand this, aliens? Ok, they were possible and very understandable, but magic?
"Well... As you could read in my report, I read about the multiverse theory and what the Solitas knew about it, and with the knowledge that the Solitas is in constant contact with alternate Earth where magic is now widely known and normal, I looked more into these claims, and from all, I could gather, the Throne of Heroes, is possible, no not just possible but probably a real, just like Acient's live on some other plane of existence, the Magic and Servant's life in other, these two do not negate each other, no, on the other hand, all these theories just prove how little we know about the history and world!"
Daniel said with shining eyes, still his mood was such good as he didn't get a chance to speak with Merlin or even one heroic spirit, something that made Daniel grumble and wish he could stay in Solitas for little more, just to ask some question's to these legendary figures!
"So... You are saying that we ourselves have this.. Alaya? And can summon our... How are they called, Heroic Spirits?"
Asked Defense Chief, Daniel looked at him and, seeing that others wanted to know too, thought for a moment...
"I think... That it is possible, if we do have Throne of Heroes there, but the summoning itself wasn't spoken in the book, and I do not think Solitas would just tell us how to summon them, plus there is the fact that Merlin spoke that not all Heroic Spirits were 'good' as all legendary figures are in Throne of Heroes, not just heroes... So the possibility of summoning some most the biggest monster's in our history is big."
Daniel said and there was a debate for a while as others spoke and thought about the pros and cons of summoning Servant...
Ultimately they put it to rest with the promise of finding experts on the history and exoteric stuff, finally moving to Carter who looked like deer in headlights...
"Major Carter, technology, what can you tell us of what Solitas chose to trade with us."
Al Gore asked, not mentioning the Solitas ridiculous price in the entertainment district, to think they wanted their culture for high tech was something even more strange than the entire magic stuff debate...
"Y-Yes! Well, first and something I think would be the most prudent for us to want is the advanced green energy farms and battery technology! Just from my guesswork, I know that if we use the solar panels the Solitas have, we could power every city with one farm that would by big as four to six football stadiums, plus with the battery technology, we wouldn't need to worry about any bad weather as it would story ridiculous amount of power, something we could even use in our car's! No longer needed to use fossil fuels!"

Sorry for the wait, I caught a quite bad case of fever when I worked on the roof in very strong and chili wind, that said, the fever is more problem that it gives me both migraines and a pretty big case of lethargy...
So sorry, still there is an update, and the next chapter will be continued where this ends...
