Chapter 2: Prologue Part 1
-----Two years before current time----
Handsome and a genius now at 20 Alex Simmons was the perfect man, with sky-high grades and a face that was cut like a sculpture he was the living dream.
But beneath that friendly and kind exterior was a cold and analytic machine that sees through your vulnerabilities and Alex knew how to use it to his advantage, those that saw the true him were the only ones who could tell you that that man was a demon in human skin. Alex always knew that he was always different than others, his lack of empathy for strangers always made him feel different from others and made him feel that he didn't belong in this society that made all humans into mindless rule followers that obey the manipulations of mass media.
One thing that always seemed to attract him was anime, seeing the protagonists in a different world that had the strong ruling over the weak made a part of him feel something strange in his cold heart.Unknowingly he became an Otaku who holed up in his home as he finished all his assignments in the comfort of his home and wrote his thesis for his final year that would change the whole world, not that he cared though since his parents had passed away. As all of us know the stages of becoming an Otaku - it slowly starts by watching a hyped up anime then going into more obscure manga and animes, then you switch to light novels, and then after defeating them you reach the apex - you start fanfics and Chinese novels.
Alex always thought like all his fellow otakus whether or not Truck- Kun exists. It was hard to prove or disprove. It was just like an argument about the existence of God (he's agnostic). He decided to take the matter into his own hands once and for all, so he made sightings of all truck murders by collision and made a huge database. The sample space was larger than he thought he wondered if he could find the man, but the hunt was as rewarding as the capabilities of the prey being hunted. He needed to reduce the database to find him/her so Alex searched for trucks hitting school/college students predominantly male and then zooming away -the usual hit and runs. Alex then wrote a hexagonal pathfinding NP algorithm tracking all of his sightings, a general direction, excluding all people who do not drive and any other parameters to reduce the number of people in his search for the one true transporter.
He made a model about the behavior of such a being that was not unlike him, as innocent as this beings name was, he hit people with a 20-ton truck without remorse for the "Greater good " so he had to find him for he knew that his time in this world was limited so to find him he made use of all the compromised systems he had hacked which were searching for Truck-kun at Lightning Speed
