Pain had just used the abilities of Human path on one of the Marines he killed.
With only a few hours rest he would be on pair with Nagoto. However, the question lays with what he will do with his body.
Will he make the six paths or will he fight alone?
Basically making the six paths is a great idea. He will have more fighting power and the fact that all the six paths can link is an added advantage.
Even so, he just can't take anybody. The six paths needs to be someone strong, just like the seven warlords of the sea, an Emperor and anyone above Rear Admiral rank.
From where he is the closest warlord might look like Boa Hancock, however it is actually Gecko Moria. Flying there would take a day, but his Chakra will be depleted to only using one almighty push.
He can use the other six path abilities, but in terms of destructiveness the ones Deva Path has are the strongest. If he focuses hard enough, he might destroy Thriller Back in one attack, unlike Amazon Lily that has a bigger surface area.
Pain starts to walk on the sea surface. He needed to recover Chakra in order to be able to use all the six path abilities.
He only needs an hour to get back to full strength. However, even a god like him was facing way too many misfortunes in one day.
Another Marine ship was coming towards him from a distance.
On the ship was Vice Admiral Momonga who had just received news that a Marine ship suddenly went missing.
At first, he thought it was the works of sea kings, but this beast could be defeated by the person on the ship.
Which made him make an assumption that it was the work of Pirates. The government isn't the only one with access to sea prism ships.
There are even same idiots who traveled the calm belt with a row boat.
Even so, he didn't expect to sea a man walking on water. He was positive that was far from being air walk.
Marine A asked with a flustered voice, "Vice Admiral Sir! What should we about that man?! Looking at him, he must be one of those god fruit users!"
Momonga muttered, "God fruit."
Such a word has been trending lately. It stood for people with the ability to walk on water, yet use powers at the same time.
Wicked Eye Itachi, Shark Man Kisame, Three Mouths Deidara, The Immortal Dark Priest Hidan, Face Mask Kakuzu (Bounty Hunter) and the new one, Puppet Man Sasori.
Face Mask Kakuzu wasn't a criminal, the Navy wanted to recruit him as one of the seven warlords. However, someone took that position.
The reason is still unknown to someone of Momonga's level. All that matters is Crocodile finally found a replacement.
The Vice Admiral looked at the man dressed in a black turtle-neck cloak. His eyes were different from that of Wicked Eye Itachi.
"We should be careful. That man is strong."
As a proud Marine that would have been the hardest thing to say. However, the man being talked about didn't put them in his eyes and continued on his way.
They could have stopped him, since all waters belonged to the Marines, but this guy was not on a ship.
He was casually walking on water.
If they address him then that would be the same as approaching a person who is swimming.
Momonga raised a brow as he noticed the direction the cloaked man was going. It was none other than Thriller Bark.
It was the location where Kuma had gone to take care of the infamous Straw Hat Pirates, under orders from the higher ups.
As of now the only suspect he had was that man. He might be the one who sank the Marine ship. The possibility of denial when asked about the matter was high. However, he had to try.
"Let's go towards him." Momonga ordered.
"Yes!! Vice Admiral Sir!!"
The ship turned over in the direction of Pain and Momonga took his loudspeaker.
"Are you the one responsible for the missing Marine ship!? I Vice Admiral Momonga demand your cooperation! "
Pain turned over and looked straight at the Marine, "Mortals such as yourself won't understand the works of a god. Be that as it may, it seems you might be of some use to me Vice Admiral."
Momonga couldn't understand what this cynical fellow was talking about, but he knew he was the one who sunk the Marine ship.
"A—!"
Momonga's words came to a sudden halt, as he found himself floating over the direction of Pain's left hand.

1 - Why did Itachi take care Jewelry Bonney?
A - Mmm... As a person who is not sure of when he will die, Itachi needs someone to inherit his will. There is no way he would trust a guy like Kisame. Besides, Bonney is only ten at the moment, they are no room for anything. He is just a sensei, even if she runs away at the Sabaody Archipelago he won't even bother looking for her.
2 - Why is Kisame not at full strength?
A - Kisame is generally weak to people with less Chakra. His fighting style depends on how much Chakra his opponent has. That's why he lost to Might Guy as well. His only source of Chakra are the other Akatsuki members and Devil fruit users.
3 - How many are Orochimaru's informants?
A - At least one in every big organization, including the Red haired Pirates. Also, one of the elders is giving him support on finding the One Piece. He was the first to be reborn, just around the time Ace set out to sea. He kept low-key and made connections, before moving.
Now that's done, time for the big news.
