"Alanor, where are we?" Ulrike asked when he realized that the portal Alanor had created hadn't gotten them to the party.

They were currently in the middle of a familiar forest.

A place Ulrike knew too well, but didn't know what to think of right now.

This was the place that had begun it all.

The place where the world had come down on the young Wynter and he had lost everything, including a part of himself in the process.

He was supposed to be a young kid, but that day, he was a broken child, with no one to run to but run from a lycan king that was determined to make his life hard. He was on the run from a king who had taken everything away from him, and would still take, if he didn't run away.

Running away was interesting to some point, because the young Wynter may have escaped with his life, but he was haunted by everything that happened that Saturday. He was ruled by it, and nothing would make it better for him.
