If you like adventure, a touch of romance, a taste of a well-developed world, interesting characters including the side ones, clever writing and pacing, nearly sparkling grammar, and a fantastic story please consider reading this novel even just the first few chapters to see if you like it! I really enjoy it and think this is a very special novel. Starting from an adventure that feels like you’re listening to a DnD campaign and then we switch over to modern day Japan it’s so unexpected but so wonderfully executed. The story and lore are well crafted and the author does a great job using Japanese language to immerse yourself a little deeper than surface level into Japanese culture (but don’t worry they explain all the words if you’re scared of reading romanji!). The author knows how to pace and once you start reading it will be very hard to stop. The characters are really well developed starting with the FL she is strong, just, and charming. She is a character that you want to root for as a lead and you really feel that she will be able to accomplish her goals and tasks she sets out to do. The ML is little interesting as doesn’t act like a human so he’s a little clumsy but he develops quickly to really get to know and appreciate our FL. The side characters are charming and they develop well too - I honestly would be okay for some spin offs for most of them because they are so interesting! All in all if you read this far you may consider trying those first few chapters of Alinea. I hope I convinced you. :D
Best story in webnovel... I haven't read a story before when everything is on point... It started out as a transmigration story but it is much much deeper.. It was a bit confusing in the beginning but as we read everything becomes clearer.... It is a lovestory spanning many many centuries of two star crossed lovers and hopefully how they break the curse.. Every character in the story is well thought out and the way the story is presented is quite different from what you have seen in other stories.. The story was very refreshing and had a pecry Jackson vibe in some parts, and is a highly recommended read.. Well done dear author.. Im glad I started reading when almost everything is unraveled otherwise I would have died wating for chapters to come out.
It started good but for a story that focuses more on human relationships I can't help but get effed by some of the emotional plot holes. Despite having good characters, I felt that they're all cardboard cutouts that were not indistinguishable from each other. They will act out of character just to fit the whims and plot of the story. Honestly, if you won't name whose talking, you'll just think it's one character rambling. They're only good because I like they're background, but not how they act. The MC's character design was complicated, you'd expect her to act like this but she'll act differently instead, these happen many times in the story until I reached halfway in the story to get an overall view of her personality and I'll just say I'm not a fan of her. She's spoiled, impulsive, inconsiderate and selfish. She's an amalgation of both good traits as strong, kind, bubbly and innocent and those negative things I just mentioned that her character felt bloated and jumbled. It's not like her character was an impossibility but she was just not charming to my eyes,even if we compare her to those common MC's here in webnovel. Compared to them she looked made with more effort but was not made for me to be likable.The story also falls flat because it spend more talking and planning while the actions were so rare to happen. Their romance was so quick and unbarred that I felt the author takes too many words or chapters when they can just put it in few chapters. If there were conflicts or even spice plots to at least put some challenge to their romance, it could have been good. Honestly, I was so excited reading this because it has both elements of romance and magic fighting as seen in the first chapters but I am now in chapter 170 , which is half of the book already, but it only got one exciting fight scene which was only one or two chapter long. he rest, was them talking about their engagement and them taking vacations. The amount of chapters given to take a side character, that Okada, was so many already and I felt it's an insult to ones writing if you only can milk this character to bring conflict to this story. She's like an ant and was being played extensively by gods. Who'd want to read about someone playing with an ant, an ant can't hurt you so what's the catch? Why are we spending so much chapter and time for this cannon fodder?You see, it had a great premise even though the more extensive it was, the more it could easily get convulated. But this genre, though unique in the east asia novel world. It's not, when compared to western countries. If we compare this to them, this book really fails in its execution. There are so many wasted plots and opportunities, the conflict was non-existent and the character was lacking. It could definitely use an editor.

bro overcooked. for around the first 200 or so chapter were good and fun to read. but after that it gets tiring, it gets frustrating to read. and kinda repeating too. so yeah. bro really overcooked.

Read this novel, I highly recommend it. I started reading it a few years back and an re reading it again because I enjoyed the story a lot. It's creative, has great characters, action sequences, and lovely romance. 100/10 ❤️

Great story with wonderful characters! The world building and description was well thought out, i really liked that the story did not drag on forever and had a beginning, middle, and end.
Overall great book and a must read. Adventure, drama, and oh so much more. Honestly I’m not much into rebirth books but this is a good read. Take the chance and read this book you’ll enjoy it.

Such an interesting novel to read. Very enjoyable. I often find myself going late into the night to read this. Honestly, 'ALINEA' is like the dessert after having a scrumptious meal.

This novel is great, when you read it you can find yourself lost in the book's world and only become more immersed as you read on. The writing quality definitely deserve 5★ It is clear and able to deliver the meaning of terms needed and convey the emotion of every scene from the heartwarming interaction between the siblings to the funny conversation between the FL and ML. The stability of update are always punctual so I'll give 5★ Story development! *Slam 5★* if this doesn't deserve the stars then I don't know what would. The story are flowing smoothly, easy on your imagination, and there are no needless details (to me anyway) Character design 5★ personal vendetta against riajuu aside, the characters in the novel are clearly depicted and let you imagine them with ease. Don't fantasize them too much tho you might ran into a pole. World background deserve 5★ uwu. Be it the beautiful original world of Alinea, the realistic modern world of Ara, both have solid foundation on how they are and have a down to earth condition that will satisfy you.
