Throughout our journey in the car, no one spoke and this made me worry."max"I called as soft yet audible as possible. "Mm" he hummed."is anything wrong "I asked again and he shook his head." Did I do anything wrong?"I asked and he shook his head again. "Your behaviour is killing me" I said in a pitiful way.he didn't give me an answer then the car came to a halt.I looked at him with questioning eyes "we're here" he said this time his voice was cold.as far as I can remember, the people max spoke to in this tune were people he had no feelings for.no..no...max loves me right?.. "Kate" he called and I was jolted back to reality. I slowly opened the door and climbed down the car.a large building was standing right in front of me but I was lost.. Lost in thought. "Mam are you here for the party" a familiar masculine yet sweet voice brought me back to the earth.I turned to confirm if I was not just hearing voices but no it was real.his beautiful smile with fine white theet was visible. His long slim well shaped nose,his black eyes and well shaped eyebrows. Oh and how could I forget his sexy alluring lips of cause.he was a man but had this kind of charm and beauty.if max was handsome, then this man was sinfully heartbreakingly handsome.he was took cute to be real.his well built body structure oh mine.he was soooo hot even in his clothes. He wore gray suit and white shirt.which matched his thick short black hair which was neatly arranged. "Kate" he softly called "oh..a...boss" I stammered. "Let's go inside" he said offering me his arm.I was tempted to accept but I refused. "I'm here with max" I said. I noticed his face darkened but before I could confirm, he smiled sweetly again OK let's wait for him "he suggested" no boss how can I make you wait. "I said flashing an awkward smile." It's not safe for a beauty like you to stand alone here "he said signalling me to look behind me.eww some gang of useless boys were standing licking there lips naughtily." Oh yea let's go"I said and he took my arm and led me inside. "What max is already inside and...and..oh" I felt like crying. "Kate" our boss called as I pulled my arm from him and ran in a direction I don't even know.well luckily, it was the wash room.I cried and cried my heart out."Kate please open the door"our boss said from outside. Well it was his house so I opened the door and he rushed inside hugging me.I sobbed and he stroke my head gently soothing my sob and like magic I stopped. "Are you alright?" He asked "I'm sorry to trouble you" I apologized. "I won't accept until you tell me" he insisted. "I came with max, I waited for him,I never knew he was already inside flirting with some other girl" I explained. "It's ok.go and talk things out" he said taking my arm and led me to his room. He called a makeup artist to get me ready again. In no time, I was ready and he was there again. He led me to the party and there again I saw Max who was about to kiss the girl and I felt a sting in my heart.I ran and interrupted them."what's the meaning of this huh?"I asked. For no reason, I couldn't cry."oh Kate.I wanted to tell you that I have a new girlfriend "max said." Jessy meet Kate my ex"max said "your ex?" I echoed. "Oh hi" the Jessy greeted.
