Chapter 8: Chapter 8 *Xavier
"I can't believe we just let them go just like that." Mark says.
"I know man, but there something about Xavier's mate. She's different, no offence bro." Xavi says.
"How so?" I asked intrigue.
"I just don't know, it’s like I felt power radiating off her."
"I agree, she has this powerful vibe around her." Xavion says.
"It must be because Xavier is his mate." Mark suggests.
"Probably." I agreed.
"Man, I can't believe that she survived that bite. I have never seen any human who manage to survive that bite it’s also pretty deep." Xavi says.
"I know, I have a strong mate." I said with a proud smile.
"I want to see Mate." Danger says.
"I have to go for a run."
I let Danger take over when we got outside the house he shifted and the clothes I wore are now ruined. He run straight to our mate’s house.
After 15 minutes of running, we are at the woods near the girls house. I can smell my mate's scent from here. I looked up and I saw her at the balcony on the top floor. She's beautiful. A minute or so, she's looking down like she's looking for someone in short me. Her eyes locked at Danger's eyes. Danger walked out the woods and he stared at our mate. She let out a sighed and went back in. Danger growled and wanted to run inside the house. But before he can do that, I force myself to take back control. Because I don't want my mate to get upset because of Danger.
"Alpha there's five rouges at the east border." One of my pack warriors mindlinks me.
"I'm on my way. Don't let them get near to the pack house."
I bolted to the forest and head to the east border. When I got closer to the border, I can hear the growling of wolves and sounds of fighting.
I easily bite down one of the rouges necks and sink my teeth where the jugular is. After a few seconds the rouge's body goes still, and I drop him to the ground.
One rouge came running towards me but two of my warriors’ bites off his shoulder and hind legs. I see one rouge on the ground lifeless. I saw the fifth one and he's running away.
"Don't let him get away! Don’t kill him we need some answers." I shouted through the pack link.
Two of my warriors followed him.
"Burn the bodies."
"Yes Alpha."
"Alpha, we have a problem." One of my warriors said.
"What is it?" I growled.
"When were about to get the last rouge two figures just pop in and grab the rouge after that they're gone."
"What do you mean gone." I growled not liking the news.
"As in gone Alpha, they completely vanished we don't know where they are."
"Search the area we don't know if they are still here."
"Yes Alpha."
I run back to the pack house and wore the basketball short that was neatly folded at the entrance. I walk up to the stairs heading straight to my office. There are few greetings from my pack members, but I didn't bother to greet them back.
I sighed heavily as I entered to my office. There I took a seat at the couch and grab the remote. I pressed the red button and the wall in front of me slides upwards. A huge monitor screens are displayed behind the wall. I have a bunch of surveillance camera's all over my territory and inside the buildings. No one knew except for my Beta, Third, and Head Warrior.
I rewind the clip that my warriors had almost grab the rouge. And what they say is true two figures had pop in the area they grab the rouges and somehow, they vanished.
"What are those things?" Danger asked.
"I don't know Bud, but we need to alert the pack."
"Pack meeting in 30 minutes at the meeting room." I ordered through the pack link.
I heard a bunch of 'yes alpha' goes through the pack link. I sat up and push the green button and the wall slide back down to cover the monitors. I head to my room and have a quick shower before the meeting.
I went up on stage waiting for a few more pack members to get here. Jack, Xena, Dave, Mark, and the twins are all behind me. After a few more minutes of waiting, all my pack members are here except for the pups.
"Good evening, Midnight Pack! As you all know we had been attacked by a group of Rouge's a few days ago. And now some of them had been trying again to get in our territory." Murmurs run through the pack.
"This evening there are five rouges entered in our territory, but four them are already dead. The last one had some help; two figures took him and had vanished like smoke. Now we don't know what those things are. But I want you all to be on guard at all times." They all nodded.
"Now some of you knew that I have found my mate. And yes, it is true and some of you have known her when the rouges attacked the pack house." I told them as I want them to lessen their fear and knew that there will be a few new members adding to our pack on which they are special.
"Alpha is the Luna one of the humans who helped us during the attacked?" One of my pack members asked.
"Yes, and her name is Raelin. And not also me that have found their mates but also Mark my Head Warrior and my twin brothers Xavi and Xavion."
Everyone shouts and claps at the same time. Some of them were glad that they have a strong Luna. I'm glad they like her.
"Now pack dismissed."
Before they head back to their rooms. They waited for us to step down the stage and congratulate us for finding our mates. After that I went up to my room and got under the covers.

I grab my keys and head to the garage. I can't wait to see my mate and I want to spend time with her today. I got into my Lamborghini and drive straight to my mate’s house.
I parked my car at the entrance and got out. I ring the doorbell and Faerien opened the door.
"Good morning, Alpha Xavier. How may I help you?"
"Good morning. I'm planning to spend time with Raelin today. And I want to take her out for breakfast. Is she here?" I asked.
"Oh yes she is, come on in." She fully opened the door, and I went in.
"You can just go to her room. It’s at the top floor to the right and her door is at the end of the hall."
"Thank you. But won't she get angry if I just barge into her room?"
"Trust me she won't mind at all." She speaks with a teasing tone.
She went into another room, and I swear I saw her eyes glaze for a second. But I probably must be imagining things. I went upstairs following what Faerien instructed. After five minutes of walking up the stairs. I turned right heading towards the end of the hall. I knocked the room but there was no answer. I tried again but still no one answers, I slowly turned the doorknob and entered.
I was in awe; my mate has a good taste. There was a fireplace that has couches surrounding it. The floor has a black carpet, and the walls are white color. There is a double door at the right side of the fireplace and the left side had a single door in it. I crept into the room a large bed sat in the middle of the room; its headboard is against the wall.
But I didn't realize that the single door at the left side opens, and my mate Raelin came out with only a towel wrapped around her body. Making my wolf take over.
