Chapter 31: 31. Filling Sweetness

Jerome smiled at the possessiveness of his mate. It was really cute. He was humbled that she took her care and love for him so seriously that she let the entire pack know that he was wholly and only hers.

It was a strange wonderfulness. She wanted him. A gleeful pride filled his heart as he realized that she had claimed all of him.

The glee was replaced quickly with the gratitude of being wanted. Jerome knew better than most how many he had killed, how many he had hurt, tortured and the less finer aspects of his character. Her trust and acceptance before she truly knew him floored him with humility.

Watching her lick her lips ignited his impulse to complete the mate bond fully. Blocking off his entire pack he turned his attention to his wife. He had waited too long for this.

A frown formed on his face. She wanted to shower first. He held back a growl, he was hungry.

"Why are you mad at me?" Gabriella asked somewhat amused.
