Chapter 33

-Anastasia’s POV-

I felt my body aching when my eyes were shut. I tried to move but I couldn’t. It was like some power controlled me and I had to stay put.

“Let me be at your side, my princess.” A man’s melodious voice echoed in my mind and I knew who he was.

Why was he here with me? Where was I? What happened after I passed out?

And…was he at my side? What did that mean?

I had so many questions that I started to feel my head aching more badly.

When I was trying to handle the extreme pain, I felt a tender softness on my forehead.

It was as light as a feather and as heavy as a drop of tears.

Aiden kissed me.

I didn’t know how long it lasted before I finally woke up. I felt like it lasted for a century but it didn’t. He just pecked my forehead. That’s it.

“What do you mean JUST pecking your forehead? Teenage girl.” Amy teased me the moment I came back to life and could move.
