Chapter 70: Three taps for emergencies

"Genevieve!" A voice screams out, gathering all of our attention at the panic we can hear in her voice. "Professor!" Another shriek rings out, from a male this time. 

Our Transfiguration professor halts her steps in my direction, and I am almost relieved that I am spared another one of her looks of pity. The urgency in their screams has Genevieve running from where the voices came from, and many of us jog along to see what is going on. I fall behind them, but not by much, and when I get there I see a glimpse of red splatter on leaves before my field of view is cut off. 

I push my way through the bodies that are blocking my way and stop only when I make it close enough to fully see what is going on. Blood and bone seemed to have rained all over this part of the forest - there is blood thrown in so many directions I don't know where to look.
