"That's your name now. Whoever you were before doesn't matter, do you understand?", he stated and I couldn't stop the feeling of despair that threatened to swallow me.
I shook, my head. No, I was gonna go home. I will go home.
"Listen to me!", suddenly Ryuu was on his feet, hands placed with a killer grip on my shoulder as his face leaned down from its tall and scary height. "It doesn't matter. I can't tell you the amount of people that tried to escape and all have 'died' trying", he whispered harshly at me.
Any hope at going home almost vanished, but I kept strong.
"They brought me- you, brought me here. Why can't you take me back?", I questioned defensively my legs shaking evidently.
"Nobody knows your gone, they lost all memories of you and knowing Lorraine all documents soon too", my heart plummeted hearing that. I recalled Damien talking about the brain washing.
But I couldn't just give up the idea. There's no way that could be the end. I felt my knees stagger. I slumped against the door behind me and slid down.
So I was dead, I was basically dead then. Only worse, only nobody remembers me. I felt a dark, hollow pit consume me. It was as if I was sinking but it didn't matter.
And then something hit me.
"Then why did Damien even bother kidnapping me?", I questioned, his head snapped towards me.
I looked at him unconsciously due to his sudden movement and he lowered his head as if also in thought.
And then we both heard heels, click, click.
It wasn't like Lorraines whose sounded as if they were going to pierce through the floor. It was lighter and more elegant.
I looked at Ryuu puzzled as his face stared in annoyance at the door, "shit", he muttered under his breath. "Get ready ok, Gan Me", he warned me and I couldn't help but gulp.
Why did Damiens mother seem like such a scary person? I didn't even know her and I was horrified.
"There you are!", the handle sprung down wards, and my heart started thudding. The door opened to reveal..
A small lady, well not small but the same height as me. She looked like she was in her twenties, and I couldn't help but question, just who was I looking at?
She had a kind face, smiling more than Lorraine probably had in her entire life.
"Your the new pet then?", if it was meant to be condescending then it wasn't. It was coated with enough sugar to cause someone diabetes.
I nodded at her, still upset about the whole being here ordeal. I mean how is this even possible. I breathed trying to contain my emotions.
"Your name?", it was question but I felt more like a demand.
"Gan Me", I stated, my eyes downcast, eying the hem of the dress. It was abit loose on me.
"So, why exactly did Damien bring you?", she questioned unexpectedly, I flinched. What do i say? my eyes darted to Ryuu.
Damiens Mother had already seen my hesitation so it seemed abit too late to give a confident answer.
"I'm not sure?", I answered. I could feel Ryuu tense up indicating that wasn't the right answer.
She smiled, coming up to me as if to embrace me but instead she harshly grabbed my arm.
"Then", she breathed through her smiling teeth, "Let's find out, shall we?", and dragged me out whilst I pulled back to look at a annoyed Ryuu.
He sighed irritated at the turn of events.
Now she's made a mess.
