Chapter 1: Infactuation
Summer day! The warm and cozy light of the sun hit my eyes and asked it to open up. I ignored it. Let me sleep! The hazel fleek eyes and dusky skin with brown messy hairs. Those smooth and prepossessing hands, playing with my hair and that appealing scent of him doesn't let me wake up from my dream.
"Mia, Wake up! You're already late for school."
Oh no! I can't miss seeing him today.

Dear Diary,
I'm Mia Garcia. A sweet girl. My mom is a nurse, and Dad is a chief of police. I go to Leaf Lead International School. My best friends are Jessica, Lily, and Flona. But my closest and oldest best friend is Mackenzie. I am an 11th grader. I'm 16 years old. And I've got a crush on a guy named Aiden, and getting him is not my cup of tea. And this is a secret only between you (my diary) and me. Ok fine. I'm leaving or else the bus will leave me today.

"Hey! Mom, Good Morning"
"Good Morning, love", Mom said
"Be fast or else you will be late again."
"Yeah! Mom."
I finished up with my breakfast. I took a glance at the clock. It was already "8:40". Oh, God! I will miss seeing him again. No! I took my bag and rushed towards the bus.
"Bye, Honey", Mom said
"Bye, Mom! See you." I shouted and rushed
I got to the stop. Oh my god! Did the bus leave? I lost 40 minutes to see him today. Not again. I sighed heavily! I look close to the tears. No..No..No... Don't cry. I'm handling myself to not cry. I walk to school by myself. I reached before the bus but my eyes were still teary. I kept my bag in the classroom and walked out to see the bus coming. I'm still miserable. The bus finally reached. He walked down. Sigh! He became more handsome than yesterday. He walked to his classroom. Yes. We both were in different classes. I was in the elite class and he was in the average one. The bell rang. I've to get into my class but don't want to take my eyes off Aiden. He was walking towards me. My throat was closing up with him taking the steps towards me. He stood by my side.
"Hi!" he said gloriously
I don't have the guts to look into his eyes. But I looked up. I just opened my mouth to greet him back but I realized that so-called "Hi" is not for me. It was Aiden's girlfriend Mackenzie, my bosom buddy.
"Hi! Aiden." she greeted back
"How're you doing, Mackenzie?" Aiden said
"I'm great. What about you?" she said
"I missed you a lot last weekend. " he said
"Me too" she said
Aiden comes closer to Mackenzie and puts his hand around her waist. "What about a date tonight at my place?" Aiden asked warmly
Mackenzie blushed up. "We're in school," Mackenzie said while getting Aiden hand off her and looking here and there.
"Just give me my answer and I'll leave you," said Aiden pulling Mackenzie even more closer.
"Ok! fine. I'll be there for you. Now leave me."
They are smiling looking at each other. Mackenzie saw me.
"Hey! Mia. How've you been lately?"
I was really jealous and embarrassed at that time. Jealous because they both are so close and embarrassed because I was trying to put an eye on my bestie's boy. I tried to get hold of my feelings and tried to talk to them.
"Yeah! I'm good. What about you guys?" replied in a heavy voice
"Put your a** out! Can't you see how we are?" Aiden replied rudely
"Why so rude Aiden? Can't you talk nicely?" I replied angrily
"Is this my fault?"
"What fault? What have I done?"
"You just jumped up into the couples talk. Can't you feel that?"
I'm really very embarrassed in front of them.
"Sorry for this." I replied and left.
I started to cry in class. After the teacher asked me, I faked for not being well lately. My mom arrived at the school and took me home. I'm so silent in the car. After we reached home, I quietly went up to my room and closed the door.
"Don't come to my room!" I appealed Mom
"Ok! I won't." Mom replied

I forgot to share with you something important. "Aiden hates me." He hates me because he thinks I get in between him and Mackenzie but I don't. I just have a crush on him. I never wanted to break their relationship and get in between. I'm really hurt by his abusive replies. I hate being not attractive. I hate being clumsy. I hate being a duff...

I was in my room, still thinking about the things Aiden said to me!
"Mia, Come down!" father excitedly called
"Yah! Coming dad." I replied
I washed my face and cleaned up my tears and went downstairs.
"Hey! Dad. Welcome home." I greeted in my heavy throat.
"Come here, sweetie. What happened to my cute little doll?"
"Nothing dad. I'm just frustrated."
"Upon?"
"Upon….being myself."
"Why?"
"Because I'm short, a fat, and clumsy."
"Sweetie, why are you thinking this way? You're perfect. Don't listen to what others say to you. And the thing about being special, you are the most special gift I ever had in my life and I'm so happy to have you.". Father consoled me
I hugged him tight!
"Fine, Dad. I understood. I'll not cry for this again."
"It will not be like that. Promise me."
"Promise", I said ignoring all consequences
"Ok, are you guys off from your talks? Dinner is ready." Mom asked
"Yeah! coming mom!" Dad and I shouted
We sat for dinner and mom started serving food to us.
