Chapter 2: Countdown 2 Where the f*ck am I?!
"Where the f*ck am I?!"
Hua Meili cussed the moment she woke up and saw the unfamiliar surroundings. Her head hurt as she tries to sit up.
When she woke up in unfamiliar surroundings, Hua Meili thought that she was kidnapped.
Her first thoughts were: Those kidnappers had peas as their brains! How could they kidnap a beautiful fragile dirt-poor student like me? I ain't have money but only my body!
But upon closer inspection of her surroundings, she discovered that something was wrong when she caught a glimpse of herself in a mirror beside the bed, she screamed.
"Ahhhh.... so beautiful! Is this me?! My God, I look so f*ck*ng gorgeous! If I have this face, I could have hit the runway back home! Wait. Did I just transmigrate?!"
When the word "transmigrate" overlap her mind, as every transmigrator would have reacted she should have sullen and red eyes as she questions "why" and "how" they died.
But, she herself reacted the opposite.
Thinking that she really had transmigrated, her eyes sparkled at the thought and million novel scenarios run rampant in her fantasy-overloaded brain.
"F*ck*ng unbelievable! Where could I have transmigrated, in a magical world, cultivation no, this is a modern world so Ahhhh.... could I have transmigrated as an heir to a really big company or something or maybe..."
Hua Meili giggled as she stupidly dreamed of the various scenarios she had once upon a time dreamed of in her stupid past.
*Bam*
Hua Meili's daydreaming ended up when something dropped or more likely smashed very heavily on her head, falling down to the floor.
"Ouch! What the heck, who threw that!!"
Hua Meili shouted while clutching her head and glaring at the book on the floor, crouching down she looked at the thing on the floor.
(A/N: It's me!! *immediately runs away*)
"What's this? A cheat? A golden finger? Or an instruction manual of some sort?"
Hua Meili picked up the book puzzled, read the cover page, and immediately realizes something and froze.
"Oh heavens!! Why are you so cruel?! You could have transmigrated me anywhere! Do you really hate me that much to transmigrate me in this novel!!"
(Heaven: *heavenly light and sacred voice* I am not the cruel one... It's all the Authors' fault! The Author stole you from me!
Author: You lying Heaven! I'm innocent, as innocent as a baby! *thinking of 101 ways to kill Heaven*
Heaven: *felt chills on its back* )
Yes, as you had guessed she transmigrated into an Apocalyptic novel where zombies are running rampant and humans were the ones in the lowest of the lowest of the food chain!
What the hell!!
Hua Meili can only lifelessly look out at the boundless blue sky shedding an invisible tear in her heart while thinking about the future ahead of her.
She sighed and took a glimpse at the book in her hand as she read the whole title of the book besides the Apocalypse part and suddenly her eyes widen.
Apocalypse Countdown!!
"Oh heavens! I take back what I said! You are really generous, kind, caring, magnanimous, and anything you could think of because I could not think of other good qualities anymore. But thank you, oh thank you very much for transmigrating me into this novel with superpowers! I thought you just sent me here to die! At least I can learn some skills to defend myself and you even send me here in my favorite novel even though it's an Apocalyptic one where it is super dangerous.... Thank you, thank you, thank you!! I love you!!"
Hua Meililaughed happily thinking that she was very lucky to be transmigrated there!
She would not exchange this world with any cultivation, modern or swords and magic novel ever!
The Apocalypse Countdown novel is a novel that is like a parallel world to Earth, where everything is the opposite of the Earth that we currently live in.
In the year 5030, the sun was covered by the moon.
Everyone thought that it was just an eclipse, but this eclipse had lasted for so long that it covered the whole world in the darkness making it hard to differentiate day from night if not for the invented clocks it would be so hard to tell.
The eclipse lasted for 10 days and within these 10 days, without the humans knowing, all the living beings within the entire world were forced into a state of hibernation.
Including humans.
The animals were slowly mutating into something different, something never seen before, something monstrous!
They turned into strong ferocious beasts that fed on any living.
Within this mutating period, all was silent for 10 days until the break of dawn on the eleventh day when all that was sleeping woke up, the day that chaos began.
The day that everything changed!
The hibernating animals woke up.
Not only that but most of all the most ferocious and man-eating monsters were born on that day.
They were called, zombies.
On that day, 75% of the population of all humankind was wiped out of existence as the Zombies or Mutants replaced them in the highest of the food chain as well as the evolved animals.
On the eleventh day when the eclipse ceased, the chaos started and the world was then set on fire and the war started between the opposing sides.
Humans were losing because they were on the losing end for not only mutated beasts and zombies were their enemy, but there was also Mother Earth.
All of nature also evolved. The plants mutated and became carnivorous and from being weak, they became strong, stronger than the humans.
The problem keep on stacking up as not only the Mutants, mutated animals and mutated plants had been the problem of the humans but also their food and water sources were starting to lessen.
The water has become polluted that it had become harmful to the human body if one were to drink it and food became scarce too because the plants before the doomsday also mutated and are now all harmful to the body when consumed.
Such was the world after Judgment Day or so they call it.
