'Wha-? Where am I?' Harbor wondered, confused. Harbor tried to move but found she couldn't feel her limbs. Peeling her eyelids open, she saw nothing but a black void.
'What the heck is happening?!' Harbor tried to scream, but she couldn't seem to make her voice work. Panicked, she looked down at her limbs, only to find a shock. Her arms and legs were gone! Harbor's body was gone, all that was left was an ethereal orb, with turquoise mist floating off of her 'body.'
Harbor was terrified, what will happen to her now? How did this happen? Why did this happen to her?! Suddenly she saw a faint patch of deep blue, almost black speck of color in the distance. A spark of hope erupted within Harbor's soul, quickly growing into an inferno of desperation and deep-set desire to be free from this abyss, a raging demand for life.
Willing her 'body' forward, Harbor was driven like a bullet, to get to the blue before it could disappear from her sight. Within seconds, Harbor got to the blue and flew inside it.
'I'm safe, I'm finally safe.' Harbor instinctively knew she was protected by the blue, blue was safe, blue was life. Noticing how absolutely exhausted she was, Harbor let herself fall into a deep slumber, not noticing the presence that wrapped around her.
" Sleep well my child, my blessed one. " The presence whispered, Her voice a soothing contralto. She wrapped harbor up in her arms, sending her away to a new world, where Harbor would flourish, where Harbor could LIVE.
