I turned around to see Mason standing at the door with a bored expression.

"If I am not disturbing the CEO, may I come in?" There was no trace of politeness in his voice.

And even before I answered, he walked in as if he owned the place.

Elena's forceful promise kept my temper in check, and I asked, "What are you doing here?"

His eyes shifted to Christine, and she instantly took the clue. "I will be back later, Boss." She walked out of the room without sparing another glance at Mason.

He looked after her before smirking. "You have got one hell of a PA cousin."

"So the point is what sick game your wife is playing? Does she wants to play the hero to win the family's trust? Or does she think by doing this favor to me, she can keep me away from you?"

"Clearly you can't understand her reasons because you have just showed what a narrow-minded person you are with a brain of a bean's size." I retorted confidently yet calmly.
