"Are you okay?" I asked as the wheezing came with every breath she took in.
"I'm fine," she reassured me with a kind smile. Honestly, she didn't appear to be older than me, but she seemed so innocent that I couldn't be sure. Even her voice held a note of innocence that made me think that she was in her early teens.
Her long black hair fell down to about mid-back, looking like a waterfall. Offset by the paleness of her skin, her blue eyes shone bright. I had never seen anyone so beautiful.
"I have a heart problem," she finally admitted after a second, her hand going to her chest. "I have a long list of medications that I need to take, and of course, I can't be stressed."
I nodded my head. "And being stuck in this room wouldn't help either, huh," I smiled at her, already thinking about what medicines at A.M.K would be able to help. Even if she needed surgery, I would be willing to pay for it.
Hey Guys!
I am so sorry that I haven't been posting for this novel in the past week (or more).
My family has been transferred across the country, and we went on our house hunting trip from the 22nd to the 28th (because we only have 7 days ro figure everything out) and then on the 29th, I went in to surgery.
I am better now... still somewhat medicated so if you can point out any spelling mistakes or grammar, that would be great.
But I am back and hopefully better than ever!
This month, I will be posting 2 chapters a day with 2 advanced chapters.
