Chapter 176: Darkness of Dragons

In the Separate Realm, where time and locality were distorted...

Kyriachos began to harness the energy of the Separated Realm.

"This entire Separated Realm is being moved in the real world. Wherever the original location of the source of the Darkness that Separates, it's now settling in your real body. Your blood is the beacon that is leading the darkness." Kyriachos explained.

"I plan to use the collapse of this realm and harness the energy the collapse will generate to pass on the ability to bend space to your forming dark core. And you will be a step closer to becoming what your Master is."

"Bend space? Then it can do what Lord Kyros can? His ability to access the Temple and store and retrieve objects will also be possible to me?"

CREATORS' THOUGHTS
Rapture_Tales Rapture_Tales

A little out of the common themes about dragons, but if you read my other work, New Game+, you would know that I am a bit of a bible nerd. And because of that, the lore of dragons is a bit different here. In the Judeo-Christian theology regarding 'dragons', Satan is actually a dragon. He was the 'serpent' (which is NOT a snake) that decieved Adam and Eve and this same dragon appears as the primary enemy in Revelation.

So i'm using this as reference for making dragons the scheming/deceiving type.

Also, one of the readers pointed out something about Nephilim vs. Nephalem. While the descriptions have changed because pop culture has redefined it, (i.e Blizzard's Diablo lore, other games) the original meaning of Nephilim, as defined in the bible, is that it's the result of a fallen angel mating with a human mortal. Now, Kyros isn't this, but I just want to point out that going in the whole hebrew thing, there is no such thing as a "Nephalem". Nephilim and Nephalem are just the same words that have different spellings when it was transliterated from Hebrew to english. So if you are confused with the whole Nephilim/Nephalem thing, note that I am not using the definition as is commonly known in pop-culture or in the internet, nor am I using the original definition of the word. The 'Nephilim' Kyros has his own definition and will have his own rules.

TL;DR, don't get too obsessed with the definition of Nephilim/Nephalem.
