Chapter 2: Legacy/First fight
Adonis woke up, but full of energy, unlike the grogginess he usually feels when waking up.
He gets up out of bed quickly but just as quickly fell to the ground, as the light started to appear on his chest. He then felt something being marked on the inside of his body making him extremely uncomfortable.
"Uhh...damn it...shit," Adonis says, trying to calm down and move past the uncomfortableness he feels in his body.
He soon feels better, and as he finally calms down he feels a sudden wave of information coming into his brain.
The information was telling him how his legacy works and what he has now.
The legacy has a total of 4 things to it:
1. The ability to enter his ancestor's soul domain whenever he wants. But unfortunately, the ancestor will no longer be there.
2. The technique of "10-Heaven star ki", strengthens all his physical abilities 10x more than they usually were.
3. His foundation would become as vast as the sea and as durable as a diamond, meaning that he can use all different types of cultivation methods to grow.
4. He will be only able to use Anima energy instead of mana energy.
Anima energy is the life energy of this world and what the world is built on.
Adonis processes the information and lies on the floor in complete shock at what he was given.
"Th-Thi-This is...AMAZING!!" Adonis yells at the top of his lungs feeling like the luckiest damn person in the entire universe.
This causes the other disciples that live next door to his dorm room to wake up confused about who's yelling.
Adonis didn't realize this and was just hopping around his room like an idiot.
He was so excited and energized by this that he ran out of his room at the speed of a cheetah. Causing him to crash through his dorm door.
Adonis was surprised at what he just did but quickly concludes that this must the "10-Heaven star ki" technique and that it must naturally strengthen his body.
Adonis quickly ran out to the training ground of the sect and wanted to see just how strong he got after he got his legacy.
Before Adonis got his legacy he trained with the sword every day since it was the only thing he was slightly good at.
Adonis practices with the sword and trains to get control of his body's sudden burst of strength.
He trains for about 3 hours and realizes more about his new technique.
The "10-Heaven star" technique had 10 levels to it and he was currently just on the first level, in which he is only able to summon 1 star, but as he grows in cultivation he will be able to progress through the levels and gain more stars making him grow more physically strong.
He is excited at this as 10-step techniques are very rare and powerful, so the fact he got one from the legacy only made him more grateful to his ancestor.
3 hours later, he heard a voice talking behind him.
"Well, seems like the trash of the Lock family decided to get up early to train his barely average swordsmanship."
Adonis's mood immediately worsened as he knew who was behind him.
"Vichon what are you doing here so early...?"
Vichon was the major bully of Adonis, he treated Adonis like trash on the first day he was recognized as the disciple of the Green Valley Sect. The reason behind his bullying of Adonis was that Adonis came from the Lock family, a major nobility that was known for their incredible fire magic and talented fighters. Vichon seeing how weak Adonis was despite being from the Lock family gave him sadistic pleasure in harassing him.
"Ah no reason, I just happened to be sleeping till eventually, someone decided to scream loud enough for people on another continent to wake up from their slumber. Now imagine my surprise when it turns out to be you, now answer me this Adonis. Have you finally lost your goddamn mind?" Vichon says, the last part with hostility.
"Maybe I have, maybe I haven't, what's it to you?" Adonis says, not being intimidated by him.
"Haha, seems you have lost your mind if you're talking back to me! Do I need to put you back in your place trash!"
"Are you gonna do it or are you gonna pussy out and let one of your dick riders do it."
Vichon had three followers of his behind him.
"Oi! Who the fuck do think you're talking to!!" Goon 1 said.
Vichon stops his goon from trying to attack Adonis.
"Ok, it seems I do need to teach you your place you crazy fucker!!"
Adonis said nothing and simply did a simple sword stance.
'This will be my first fight after I got my ancestor's legacy, let's see how strong I truly become!'
