I Scream ~summer special 2~ (Felgard's note 2)
The school bell rang, signaling the sign of the end of classes. Finally, finally!! Yuss!! It's summer vacation!!!
The sound of cicadas chirping, the sun cooking people, plus ice cream stands! Yahoo! As always, nothing beats summer more than ice cream! Today on the way home, I'll be sure to pass by an ice scream stand.
Hmhmm... These random students all wasting their precious time on useless things when they could just stay at home and enjoy their precious ice cream time. Strawberry, Chocolate, Vanilla, Chicken, and all other flavors, all blend in perfectly in your tongue. I'm sure there are still tons of flavors out there begging for the right day to be eaten by yours truly, therefore I better hurry and get some ice cream on the way home.
Hehe, look at all these students laughing while opening their lockers. If only they are talking about ice cream, I'm sure to hear words from each of their mouths. Haha, I'll just open my locker, get my outdoor shoes and... Huh? What is this? A letter? Who would leave a letter here? I mean, didn't we leave this era behind already? What's the use of cellphones?..
Maa, whatever reason, I should just throw it in the trash bin. I mean, I don't need it so... There, I bet the trash bin is happy to be fed...
Aah, ice cream, here I come! Ah? Someone poked me, who-
Sh: "You dropped this..."
Huh? She just placed it in my hand and... left. What's wrong with her? Did she not see me throw this away? Well anyway, there are still more trash bins on the road. So I'll just politely throw this again... Ah! There's one right there! No worries trash, you'll be right where you belong. I'll just put you inside and... there, enjoy your life! Now then, ice cream thoughts! I wonder what flavor should I pick today...
S: "Excuse me young man..."
Heh? Who is this, an old butler? What does he want?
S: "Could this be yours?.."
The letter again? Wha-
S: "Ah... I remember the first time I received a letter. It was -"
"Aah! Yes, it's mine. Thank you very much bye!!!"
Man, he just began story telling about his life all of a sudden. I'd rather not listen to those. I should focus myself on ice cream..But man, where should I throw away this letter? Ah, the river under this bridge? This doesn't seem to be a good idea... still I just threw it away and thought about great things again. Perhaps I should go with peanut butte-ah? What's the poking? Who did it and why?
X: "Excuse me, but I believe this is yours..."
Eh? A cool manly person... Why is he handing out the letter to me? I just threw it in the river?..
"Uhmm... I'm sorry but I believe it's not min-"
X: "I believe this is yours..."
"Like I said, it's not min-"
X: "It is yours..."
What's with the cold expression? His grey eyes looked like he's dead. Plus he has glasses which make him a genius. And I don't wanna argue against a genius. So I just took the letter and quickly walked my way as fast as I could.
Man, what's with this letter? Is it following me around? I probably should just throw this away when there is exactly nobody around. Okay, there's another trash bin right there, I'll just wait until all these people passes by...Okay they're almost out... Okay! There's no one else on the road now... I'll just walk towards the trash bin aaand throw this awa-
N: "Uhmm... Excuse me. Can I have your attention?"
Huh? I haven't even thrown this yet.
N: "I think you dropped this you see..."
What is it? Ehh?!?! The letter?! But I haven't even thrown this one yet. Ah? She just placed it on my hand.
N: "There you go, don't lose this again, okay?"
And by that she left me without looking back as she hummed to herself... Is she even a girl? Still now I have two letters at onc-eeehhh?!?!
"There's only one letter?
Oi, oi. What could this mean? Am I haunted or something?!?! This letter seems to be following me. Must I hold possession of this letter? Anyway these are starting to get creepy. I'm not afraid of it or anything, but it's just seriously being creepy.
Should I just open this letter now? Maybe it will all be fine once I open it... Ah! It's getting darker? Rainclouds began appearing out of nowhere, Ah! Rain!! Why would there be rain in summer?!?! I run trying to find a small park at least. Ah, there's one!
Man, what's with this rain? It's like there was no summer after all. It's so thick, I can no longer see the houses in this area because of how thick the rain is. Does this mean, there are no ice cream stalls?... Awe... and I was looking forward to this... Oh, I remember, I still have some leftover ice cream from yesterday!! Home it is then!!! Now for this letter... Maybe I'll just bring this home for now, I think. Ice cream is my first and foremost priority for this day, until I find a way to get rid of this, I'll just keep it to avoid further disturbances.
Now then, my house is just three blocks away from here, so... Dashuuuu!!! Aah! The rain's falling heavily, but I don't care! As long as I can eat ice cream at home!!! I'll keep on running and running and running and running and running and running... Oi, where's my house? I'm sure it's around here somewhere... Ah, I'm soaking wet... My house, where is it?! I run again and again and again, now where am I? The rain is so heavy I cannot see where am I now...
At this rate I'll get sick, and if I get sick... I cannot eat ice cream!!! No, this must not be!! Ice cream!!! Oh, an open housegate? I have no other choice but to let myself in and knock on the door. I cannot see clearly but, could the house be a bit big? And old? Anyway, I cannot get myself sick. For ice cream's sake. And thus, I knock and called out!
"Uhmm! Is there anyone home ?!?!" I knock on these humongous doors again. Ah, it opened... But, nobody is around... Also, the only thing I saw inside was a long dark hallway without any doors. At the end of the hallway was... Eh... that is uhh.mm.... That is a c-coffin, right?.. With eerie candles on each side... Aahh... Why is the photo of the dead person... empty?...
"Oi, what's going on?.. Oi..." I then suddenly remembered the letter. Could it had a connection with this? I held the letter and there suddenly was a faint wailing sound coming from the coffin. I then took the courage to open it. Once I did, I immediately read the content...
"Come... back h-home..."
As I looked up, I was face to face with a woman smiling at me. Only that her eyes were all black, her face was so white, and her smile reached her eyes. Her body was still on the coffin as her neck stretched out all the way to me...
"Welcome home..."
Lights turned on, and the room was bright again.
"So, was my horror story scary?" I stood up proud of myself. But the rest didn't seem too happy about it as they were cuddling to themselves.
G: "What was that? That's way too scary!!"
Sh: Mhhmhh!!
M: "Oh, oh... So terrifying!! So heart stopping!! Oh, the fear! The terror!! I feel like unable to sleep tonight. Pain killers please...
D: "I-it wasn't really that scary but it was quite the story..."
M: "Don't get brave all of a sudden, you know your afraid.
D: "Wh-whaaat?"
I believe one important person did not give out a comment. My very target of my horror story.
"So Friesha? What do you think?!" I gave out my smug face.
She's just staring at me folding her arms. I bet you can't speak after hearing that story? Hmhmm... The first time I heard that story from my grandfather, I got sick for two days... Now after these years, I was able to share my fear to everyone... How do you like that?
F: "In overall I could say... four out of ten..."
Ehh!!! Wha-what do you mean four out of ten?!?!
"Oi, Friesha, just admit it. It's pretty scary right?!?!"
F: "Well, it has the feeling of thrill because of how the first impression was funny. But it didn't really fit in for me..."
Curses. Why isn't she affected? What a girl!!!!
By that everyone went home one by one.
G: "By then, see each other next time!!
D: "We'll be going now..."
"Ah. Be careful on the road okay?.. Specially when it rains...." I gave a creepy face and Dave flinched.
M: "Ahaha! Bye now!"
Sh: "Bye bye..."
And the four went home. I turned my back and there Milla is still giving Friesha the goodbye handshake.
M: "This summer was so much fun. I'm excited for next year!!! Oh, ah! I can't wait!!!"
F: "Ah... Let's do this again next year!"
She surprisingly lowered her head to me.
M: "Sir Felgard, well be going now."
"Aah. Take care!"
And she rode her limo driven by that Sebastian guy away from here. I can see Friesha is still, why?
"You're not going home yet?" she seemed a little embarrassed. "Oi, what's the matter?"
F: "Y-you should rejoice Felgard, f-for I have found your hospitality to be praiseworthy. Thus, I decided to s-s-stay here for the night. R-rejoice!!
Hehhh?!?! Why all of a sudden? She really is weird.
"Why though? I'm curious..."
F: "Well curiosity kills the cat so just..."
She suddenly grabbed me by the arm and took me inside.
"Ah, wait. I can walk on my own!"
F: "Hurry up! It's dark outside!"
"A-ahh aah!"
And by that the door was shut...
