CHAPTER 436

Kaia's eyes widened as she recognized the face staring widely at her. It was then realization dawned on her. "You!"

"Oops!" She disappeared again, causing Kaia to lose sight of her. Seeing that her daughter was unsure of what to do, Marceline got angry and yelled her might.

"Get her, don't let her escape!" Marceline ordered, bringing her daughter back to reality. In the same vein, Astrid did not need an invitation on what to do; swimming as fast as she could.

"Get her! Close the gates. Close the gates!" Marceline yelled.

Luckily for Astrid, she was faster than before. If it were then when she still was in her human form, then she may not have made it. Now it was different.

Now she had a tail, which was not just beautiful, but equally strong and fast.

Astrid looked back once more, catching the fear in her mother's eyes before facing forward and swimming with all that she got.
