Chapter 22: You have unlocked the new Stalker Skill
"If I'm not mistaken, it should be tomorrow morning?"
Perfect timing. So, Logan didn't have to wait any longer. The next day he would immediately look for any opportunity, as much as possible, to take part in the Dungeon expedition carried out by the Elves.
"Do you know who used to come to this place, Alice?"
Alice nodded her head.
"Didn't big brother often accompany that elf sister? Dad called her Elincia Roxidor."

Logan tried to dig into the memories in his head about something regarding elves, but he didn't get the slightest bit of information. If it was confirmed that he had been in contact with them. It would have been easier for Logan to join them on their expedition.
Logan fell silent. Remembering the previous experience with Fokil the Blacksmith. When he was almost strangled to the point of losing his breath by the Dwarf.
"Does dad have a good relationship with them?"
Alice nodded her head again. He still held a glass of water, occasionally drinking from it.
"If dad has a good relationship with them, it shouldn't be difficult for me to carry out my intentions."
Logan returned the wide grin that looked suspicious in Alice's eyes.
"Brother?"
"Hmm?"
"Isn't it the older brother who often accompanies Elincia? Brother is the one who has a good relationship with them."
"What?"
Logan stood up from where he was sitting, trying hard to remember the memories. He knocked his head twice, feeling annoyed that the memory transfer that happened didn't go well until only a little of Logan's memory he could accept.

Logan sat back on the wooden chair, remembering the second skill of the class he had. Soul Contract, Logan needs to establish a good relationship with someone strong enough for the contract he would make.
Elincia Roxidor is an Elf General whose strength is beyond doubt. Logan was very familiar with her character because he designed it. Elincia is loyal and honest. She is a reliable partner.
However, Logan tried to think hard about how he could convince the woman. Elincia was quite strong and had more authority, so what Logan currently had probably wouldn't be enough to interest her.
Logan wondered if he should lower his standards a bit? For example, trying to make a contract with a lesser elf? But Logan was not the type of person who dreams small. If he can get the best, why should he accept anything lower?
Soul Contract was a skill that would bring enormous potential in the future if he got into a contract with various races. Because the power that he will also inherit will be more profitable the more variety he gets.

Logan took a deep breath. After the relentless battles he fought this afternoon, he only got an additional 2 status points.
This happened because the monsters he was facing were 1 tier lower than his current tier. Logan must at least fight monsters on the same tier as him to get maximum results.
If he continued to hunt outside the Dungeon, his development would be significantly hampered.
Logan looked at the clock. It was already midnight. He intended to go back out, do another hunt.
Monsters with higher tier often come out at night, but Stalker is also a stronger class if used at night.
Logan needs to immediately unlock all the Stalker skills he has. To make it easier for him to fight.
If this time he had a Dexterity of 28, it would mean that he needed another 72 to fully unlock all the skills.
'Irritating!'
Logan didn't delay in the slightest. He went into the kitchen, packing up some dry bread, a bottle of water, and a blanket if he might need to spend the night outside.
Logan smiled broadly, then knocked on Alice's door. After a while, he opened the door because he did not hear an answer. Logan found his little sister fast asleep.
Loga left a message. He stuck it in the bedroom door. And soon left the house to go on another hunt.
'I can't wait to get stronger than this!'
Logan had enough time until tomorrow to welcome the Elves. He felt a great enthusiasm that made him forget all the tiredness that he had felt earlier. After all, there are many exciting things he wants to experience soon.
Logan returned to the gate, and Eliza was still standing guard in the same place. Her face looked tired, and her eyes were red.
"Hey boy..."
Logan didn't answer Eliza's greeting and asked the woman to open the door again.
Eliza immediately obeyed Logan's request.
Logan ran across the meadow, rushing into the deeper parts of the forest. He felt freer this time since Alice wasn't with him.
Several bat-like monsters with two pairs of wings, as big as half an adult human's body, greeted him for the first time that night.

Instead of being called a bat, this creature is actually more suitable to be called a giant mosquito. They attack their opponents with deafening noises, and the long needles stuck in their mouths will suck the blood out of anyone unable to dodge their attacks.
Logan nimbly jumped between tree branches, somersaulted, and then slashed at the monster's body.
Logan smiled broadly as he could finish a monster that was now a tier higher than the one he faced earlier.
Another monster that Logan encountered was a snake with a pair of wings that stretched the length of their bodies.

'Pssshhh lowly creatures! Snakes don't fly in the sky!'
'Don't tell me you're jealous because of crawling on the ground.'
'Pssshhh'
A forest filled with tall trees was supposed to be very dark at night. But not that night, when the moon shone brightly.
Logan relentlessly slashed at every monster that approached him. His body was soaked with the blood of his prey.
He had accumulated the status points he needed to unlock the next Stalker skill by killing relentlessly until dawn appeared.
