Chapter 6: Chapter 6- Challenge Accepted
DREAM POV:
I went back outside once my stream ended to see George curled up (as much as you can on a couch anyway) on the couch, fast asleep, still in his clothes, and without a pillow or blanket.
(I realized recently that literally every time I wanted to say 'George' I said 'Geroge' AND I NEVER FRIGGIN NOTICED?? Literally, even in the tags, it was GEROGE.)
Had to admit he looked adorable, no matter how messy he was at the same time. I quickly glanced at my feet. Yep, got my socks on. We're good.
I wondered whether I should carry him to his bed. I'd literally been here two days and he'd fallen asleep on the couch both times. And I definitely wasn't responsible for that.
I felt my cheeks heat up a little at the thought of how I'd woken up that morning. That wasn't the most embarrassing that's ever happened to me-
I quickly shrugged off my thoughts and went over to George (Haha I spelled it right >:3), picking him up bridal style cause why not and carrying him to his room. His bed was decently sized and I knew he wouldn't mind, so I lay him down on one side before tucking him in before changing and laying down on the other side myself. I was slightly wary of Geroge. (wait no, GEORGE) on the other side.
I definitely wasn't jealous that he'd been out the whole day hanging out with someone else on my first day here, but I was a little angry. Maybe he just wanted me to relax or something, but it didn't hurt to stay home and keep me company!
I definitely wans't jealous.

GEORGE POV (THE NEXT MORNING):
I woke up early, quite a bit before Clay did. I don't know what I was expecting, but I was a bit hurt seeing him as far away as possible and turned away from me on the bed. Wait, what?
I didn't fall asleep on the bed, I slept on the couch!
Then the realization dawned upon me. He carried me here.
I could feel my face heating up slightly, so I just got up and freshened up. By the time I was out, Dream was making breakfast.
"Hey." he said in the most monotone voice I'd ever heard from him. Were Techno and him pranking me or something? But no, I recognized the fluffy blonde hair, the gray hoodie he loved so much. (borrowed it from me, by the way. Since he was 'too lazy' to unpack.
"Hey!"I tried a bit more enthusiastically "Why do you sound so down today?". When he didn't respond, I whined a bit, going over and wrapping my arms around his upper arms.
He didn't expect that. I could tell by the way he stiffened right after, before relaxing and continuing to chop his vegetables. "Are you mad I hung out with Charlie all day?"
He didn't say anything, so I took it as a no. I pouted in the cutest way I could, though he couldn't see me unless he turned his head. So of course he turned his head. As his eyes bore into me, for a moment the only thought in my head was, for some silly reason- That's not Techno.
I laughed nervously. "Then why are you mad?"
"Food." In the same monotone voice.
"What?"
"Food." I said nothing, just gave him a confused face.
"You went grocery shopping. You hung out for the rest of the day. You left me hungry."
Did he get mad about that? Out of everything?
I burst out laughing. "Oh-h G..God Dream!"
He had a semi-serious look on his face which made me wonder whether he was genuinely serious or not-
and laugh all over again.
For once in his life, he didn't laugh with me, instead sighing and cutting vegetables.
Oof.
"I'm sorrrrrrrrry. I won't leave you hungry today..." I paused, then added, "And I won't leave the house for anything either."
How much ever he tried to hide it, Dream couldn't hide the glint in his eyes at the end. I grinned before digging my face into his back again.
