Chapter 141: Parties and Call (The End of the 1st Part)

Under the veil of night and the gentle moonlight that shone down on it, the city that was supposed to be asleep during the night was still lively and full of people. Glittering light filled the entirety of Bernier City, and from the plaza, the sound of lively songs could be heard. It was in this plaza that a grand party was being held. And in this very same place, the body of the demon lay like a monument to the bravery of the mages who had slain it. However, it was not like the body had been made accessible to the public as there were more than ten soldiers standing close by to guard the body. As they stood guard, the soldiers could not help the shiver that ran down their spines whenever they turned to look at the demon’s humongous body. While it might be dead, it was still able to give them a fright.
