The novel follows the life of the protagonist and her journey of survival.
She is an abomination, a product of an alliance that should have never happened.
Long before she was born her mother made a deal with the spirits of the underworld and had her.
Her mum was a priestess and priestesses are not allowed to have children.
After her birth the world was cursed and the demons were let loose as a result of the deal her mother made
So now the gods want her dead, the demons want her for the magic she possesses within her soul and the mortals are all out for the bounty placed on her head by both gods and demons.
