Chapter 2: 둘(2)- Cotton Melt ♡

You should have listened to me, noona. He is fucking loser". Donghyuck placing his arm around you, his hand caressing your hair carefully.

"But..I loved him". You sniffled, buried your face on his chest. "But did he?". You shook your head, grabbing his shirt tighter.

"I'll go and punch his face-".

"Geez, calm down". You hold his hand, forcing him to sit down. "It's over. I just..felt betrayed". You force a smile and he did the same. His thumb wiping away your tears.

"Don't give a fuck about him anymore. You got me now". He whispered, slowly inches over you. Your eyes blinked in pure confusion. When he rested his hands on your shoulders, you found it hard to breathe.

You gulped. Scanning every single detail that you missed out. From his moles, his jawline, flawless honey tanned skin that seems sweet to you. His full lips to the scar you spotted above his right eye. You were drawn into him until his hot breath hit your neck.

From a proper sit on the couch, you escalated quickly to spread your legs wide with him on top of you, silently trapping you in between his arms.

His eyes sparkling, locked onto yours. "Noona..". Oh No! Not that precious voice managed to soothe you down every time.

Thank God you realize the fact that he is the same age as Eunhan.

"Aren't you supposed to go back home?". You pushed his chest, escaped yourself under his arms, heading to the kitchen, and grabbed some water.

Donghyuck sucked his inner cheek, nodded. "Guess I should leave". He smiled. "Okay". You replied. He slid off his phone into the back of his pocket jeans, collecting his stuff as you find him attractive especially when he bent over the couch.

You walked him to the door. "Want me to drive you home?".You offered him. He tilted his head and swiftly pinned you to the cold wall. "Hyuck !". You shrieked in surprise. "Nah, I can go back by myself". Huge smirks plastered across his face loves to tease you.

Your cheeks heated up, especially when he kissed your head and chuckled softly. "I'm going, Eunmi baby". He patted your head before he walked out of your house.

"Y-Yah where are your manners? You should call me noona..". You stuttered even though he is no longer there. "That little brat". You hissed, finding how annoying he is.

You shut the door and locked it right away. "And you, Eunmi. What is wrong with you?!". You screamed covering your face.

Your tongue sticks out a bit, extra careful molding the moist clay expecting good results. You furrowed your brows, biting your lower lip. Concentration is the main key to success.

You put your phone on silent, didn't notice the screen lit up for God knows how many times.

You soak your hands inside a basin of water for a few seconds and continue shaping up the clay, hoping it will turn out as you wish.

Focus, focus on the- "You know you love me, I know you care..". An energetic voice nearly got you into a heart attack. Not aware of the pressure, you squeezed it too hard and ended up ruining it.

You shoot a death glare at the owner of the voice. He excitedly spun around as if he did nothing. "Just shout whenever and I'll be there".

"Lee Donghyuck !". You called his name out loud, frowned spread upon your face. "Look what have you done".

"Eunmi baby, I thought you were going to pick me up. I texted you and you ignored me. You know how far I walked just to come over here, you better treat me to something nice". He whined childishly.

"..noona. Ended it with noona". You said. He rolled his eyes. "In your dreams, heh". He scoffed and joined you. "What are you doing?". He asked you cutely.

"Call me noona, or I will never treat you". You blackmail him. He ignores you and plays with his phone instead. "Lee Donghyuck".

He blinks, acting confused. "Did you call me, baby?". You slapped him.

"Ahhh you got my shirt dirty !". He fake cried in horror, brushing it and getting it much dirtier than before. A fit of laughter erupts. You clutching your stomach pointed to his shirt stamped by wet clay.

His face contorted most funnily. "Stop laughing". He stomped on his feet.

"But it's too funny". You are literally tearing up. His lips curled up evilly. "Why don't we laugh together?". He took a handful of the wet clay from your turntable and shoved it to your face.

You froze up until you could feel the liquid melting down on your face. Donghyuck who saw that abruptly clapping his hands, laughing harder than you.

"You brat !!!". You chased after him as he struggled with his heavy shirt to save himself from you.

"What do you wanna eat for today? Chef Hyuck will cook it for you".

"Would you really?". How suspicious is that sound?

He rested his hands over his waist. "You don't believe me? I'm a professional chef. Go and ask Mark, I'm a Korean Gordon Ramsay". He proudly announced, not bothering the fact that every eye was on him.

"Alright alright, shut your mouth and pick the ingredients for japchae".

"Do you be-".

"I do, I do. Hurry". You died of embarrassment and he playfully grins.

"I'm telling you, I can cook without failure". He boasted while picking up each pack of baby spinach and mushroom.

"Anything else? I'll treat you". He said. You can't believe your ears. "You treat me?". He nods. "Of course, don't worry". He gives you the most reassuring smile.

Hearing that, you stormed off to get an ice-cream tub (big one), snacks, and three bottles of coke.

You tug his shirt whispered. "Also bulgogi, fish cake soup". Your choice of dish is always limited since you can't eat anything spicy and seafood. He put his thumbs up as a signal for okay.

Pushing the trolley, casually take a few ingredients more. He is reliable. That's what you thought.

"Hyuck". You called for him and he halted his move, raising his brows, questioning you. You ran towards him and clung your arm around him. "Thank you". You grinned. He hummed softly and grinned as well, ruffling your hair.

Donghyuck walking near a free sample and you stick to him. A middle-aged lady handed him a small-bite size of sausage which he took without hesitation. "You want to taste it?". You nod eagerly and she passes him another one.

"Aigoo, is she your sister? How cute both of you". You cup your cheeks, thinking how old you might look. Donghyuck chewed up, shaking his head. "She's my girlfriend. She's beautiful isn't she?". He seems unbothered.

You choke on a small bite of sausage and the middle-aged lady awkwardly giggles. "Oh really? Yes, she is". She cleared her throat.

"Should we buy it?". She's been eyeing you weirdly. "No. It tastes weird". You pull him with you. "But it was tasty for me". He mumbled.

After it was done-load up the trolley. Donghyuck stood still, not taking out his card or cash.

"Hyuck, what are you doing? Pay it". You half-yelled. He acted as if he didn't hear it, apologized to you as he clumsily looked for his wallet.

"I think I left my wallet". He calmly told you. Your eyes bulged. "You said you're paying!". You barked, tugging his shirt harshly.

He awkwardly chuckled. "I said I'm going to treat you but I didn't say I'm paying".

"Fuck off you brat". You push him away, apologize to the cashier for waiting. "How much is it again?".

"Come on, Eunmi. I promised I will cook and wash the dishes for you. Just for you. Baby~". You swatted him away. You were busy settling the groceries inside the trunk.

"Baby~ Please forgive me. I regret it. I swear when we get home, I'll fulfill your needs like you want it. No matter how long it is". Again, he spoke out loud.

Few eyes at the parking lot got you facepalmed.

"Cut it off !". You pinched his forearm and he cried in pain. "Go home by yourself". He fake cried as he tugged your arm. "Forgive meeee~".

"Go and satisfy yourself". You played along with him and he laughed. "It doesn't feel the same without you".

Both of you not caring those eyes who found it repulsive and continue laughing in front of each other's faces.

"What is this?". You stare down at the plate cautiously.

"What do you mean? it's japchae". He replied, taking a seat near you.

"Why is it black?". Using chopsticks you pull up a few strands of glass noodles to his face.

"Just because..aish don't judge it before you taste it. I swear it's good". He gestured to you to taste it first.

"Is it edible?".

"Yes, it is".

You grimaced. Mixed feelings. "Can I taste the bulgogi or fish soup first?". You contemplated three serving dishes on the table.

He shakes his head. "Japchae first. That's your first choice".

"But Hyuck-".

"Ahhhhh". He gestured to you to open your mouth. You shut your eyes, letting him feed you.

What a surprise-

"Omo, this japchae tastes freaking good !". You exclaimed.

He brushes his nose with his thumb, proud of himself. "Told you".

"You scared me. I thought you overcooked it or to be honest burnt it". You take another bite and shut your eyes in amazement.

"Well, I added extra soy sauce. I remember that you can't eat spicy food". He chuckled, pushing the fish cake soup bowl and bulgogi plate towards you.

"Here you can taste up the rest too".

You are staring blankly at him. He lifted his eyes to get a better look at your face.

"What's wrong?".

Suddenly, tears lined your eyes. "Thank you, Donghyuck-ah".

You force out a small laugh. " How embarrassing. I shouldn't cry, aish. You know, I'm very thankful for everything you've done for me". You smiled. "Seriously". You try to convince him.

"Really? Hmm..". He propped up his chin, pretending to think.

" If you said so..if you are really thankful to me, then why don't you fall in love with me already..noona?".
