Chapter 148: YOUR TRUE FACE

NARRATOR'S POV

                It had been two days since Alexander talked to either Rachelle or Rianne, which had been very upsetting for him. For several times he tried to apologize to Rianne, knocking on her door for a while. Only to hear a leave me alone or go away. She was upset and he understands that, but that is why he wanted to apologize.

On the other hand, he had been trying to contact Rachelle- calling and texting her phone. He even showed up on her doorstep, every morning for the last three days. A small bouquet of flowers in hand,  heart beating fast. Yet just like the former, his efforts were wasted.

Now seating at his kitchen table, he chugged down the tea. Drowning himself allowing with his misery and guilt. The wilting flowers sitting atop the table, dying just like the man to had brought them from Robbie's shop.

Why must life be this complicated? He asked himself for the nth time as he drank his beverage.
