On the screen, the widows logo lit up. The mouse hovered upon the VLC logo until it was double clicked to open up the application to play the video.
The watchful gaze of all the people present in room with suits and shiny medals laid upon the figure as the man beat up agents in the dark.
Beside the recording were the statics being shown, as 23 of S.H.I.E.L.D. top agents were disarmed and beaten to bone without getting a hit on himself from the Bat's side.
And the one sided beatdown was truly a massacre without any mercy being shown if 1ot for the fact that none on the receiving end were dead.
The man in question showed impeccable skill and resilient, with power and mind to back it up.
"Batman is skilled with the knowledge of every form of martial arts that is practiced. He may have the proper training needed to master a multitude of fighting styles, though he is most reliant on his own personal combat form."
"What matters is not that he beat down your agents director," The man in an army uniform placed his hands on the table. "What matters is how did he infiltrate your new headquarters and leave the air-borne, weapons equipped, heavily armed with long-range dorsal and ventral guns and cannons, powerful Phalanx guns—14 scattered around the deck, with 70-foot barrels firing 2-foot shells. And with no lacking personnel absent rom the ship," The question was not one of pulling leg, but of genuine worry from the general's side.
"Continue the video." The president asks the remote bearer.
As the video plays, Batman is seen to find holes in the security system, leaving the surveillance system blind to his path.
Another thirty seconds in and he is seen to be at the armory's gate, the newly equipped and full of all sort of tech and weapons, that armory.
He was not seen to leave, until later when the Dark knight is observed on the deck with no signs of how he did so. His hands did not have anything, comforting the generals of no chance of theft as for now the Helicarrier was only used for heavy machinery and not smaller important things such as information sticks and files etc.
He was not alone as the relentless S.H.I.E.L.D agents seem to follow him anywhere his trace leads to.
"Was there report of anything being stolen?" The same general asks Fury, who slides a full report of the infiltration on the table.
17 mechanical parts with 32 blue prints being stolen. 13 " known attempts of inserting trojan and other viruses with the main database access being granted to unknow receipt for 13 seconds. S-rank security breach in S.H.I.E.L.D.'s paper information hub, where only the most confidential files were placed that were nowhere online during the course,
"The breach could have been much worse, the damage done for now is on a lighter side if not for Helicarrier's first flight. That contribute to not all files being placed at the archives." Alexander pierce, the newly appointed secretary to the World security council added.
"Lighter damage motherfXking shit ! We just had our asses handed over to us in a palate and-"
"While we understand your plight director Fury, please refrain from using rash words in the council meetings."
"That would be so if you do not push yourself in S.H.I.E.L.D business !"
"Your repetitive failures have made us doubt the capabilities of an undercover spy organization as S.H.I.E.L.D. The only reason we are not speaking against you is because it has come in our view that it was not due to your incompetence, rather the opponent posses such skills himself, to hide from the whole world." The council member addressed the whole council, and then continued to meet eyes with Fury, "As for S.H.I.E.L.D. business, with the portal and the Bat being proven of extraterrestrial nature, it is the whole world's business to where does his intentions lie."
One of the aggressive council member took lead and continued. "We have repeatedly asked for taking a hostile stance against the Batman yet the US government has not complied, I ask the council to let the U.N. forces take action against the Dark knight as the people call him." Fury recognized the face as he was the first of the people the Batman had provided him of being Hydra agents.
Director Fury was in a bind, while Batman had been a pain for S.H.I.E.L.D. he didn't destroy any of their plans or committed grave crimes, for him the Batman was a prime candidate for his Avengers initiative, if only the Bat would take some time to talk and not crawl and bite up his ass out of the blue to give him proof of how deep rooted Hydra had bud like a parasite in his S.H.I.E.L.D.
However any action that saved Batman conflicted with his own line of interest of presenting S.H.I.E.L.D as a victim, as was needed for its further survival as were its blunders in the last three years.
"The U.S. condemns any initiative to seek out hostilities with the vigilante Batman, but would seen his arrest from now." President Obama replies as he signals the television man to continue playing the video without asking for opinions of how he should run his state.
On the deck, it seems that the Bat had been cornered, with him surrounded by agents in three directions and 10,000 feet height on the other side, with no land in sight for miles.
All agents sighed in relief as they had catch the most notorious enemy in their eyes after Osama bin laden, as time after time the Bat had publicized their weakness and incompetency.
Suddenly the Bat does a back flip, falling straight down below with his face still eyeing the distancing flying metal giant.
He straightens his hand to hold onto something but his hand looks like it phased out from something in the air as the glove and few centimeters of his fingers got converted into black liquid substance.
Surprisingly, this did not had him taken aback as he got his belt to throw up a hook line to the place, sticking midair as if he had anticipated his fall previously.
The place to which his belt zip line was hooked started moving, while pulling the bat with a speed to reckon.
A thermal camera of the same results in showing the figure of a jet, with the concept of design resembling the Bat somehow.
Furthermore half of the jet did not even appear on the screen, meaning not only cloaking tech was developed by the Batman, but also technology that could render thermal cameras and potentially radars useless against his jet, or what would be called Batwing in the future.
The council started a debate amongst themselves as the video finally ended, with the final decision resting on the US as they refused any intervention from the council on their soil.
In the last moment of the video it could be seen that the Bat was seriously distressed, but what remains in his head was still a mystery.

Reaching the Wayne headquarters haphazardly, Batman reaches to his personal office where Bruce was supposed to be planning the new inauguration of new schemes from Wayne charity to the underprivileged students with his secretary.
However the office remains ransacked and its contents scattered, money stolen and papers picked up, but the most important part.
His secretary's piece of dress, teared apart to the tiniest bits when the person of value was not found by the kidnappers.
Bruce picked one of the tattered pieces, eyeing it meticulously.
Leaving the office and reporting of the crime, Batman strikes back to his other persona as Bruce to take the helm of his responsibilities from that side.
