Chapter 16: 16***Team Clash

"Listen up...uhm, whatever-your-name-was-again! You might be stronger than us, but we aren't going out without a fight!" I said, sounding a lot cooler than I felt.

"You little Noob, feeling like a hotshot just cause you caught one of my underlings off guard! Enjoy that little victory cause it will be your last against us! Guys, take him out!" He barked, making the other four snap back into position. So he's still not joining the fight huh? Well, that makes it better for us.

"Angus." I signaled, adding essence to my feet.

"On it." She replied before charging towards two of them, knives at the ready. I shot of towards the other two, my reinforced legs propelling me forward. One was armed with a mace and the other with a large double edge sword. Though both weapons were high leveled, it was quite obvious that they couldn't use them. They were also equipped with high level armor which will make them hard to die though.

"Take this brat!" the one with the sword swung wide into my path but I jumped up and used the sword as a vault to push of into a somersault, pushing the blade into the ground with the force! While in the air I focused my essence into one foot.

*STOMP!!!* After coming around with the flip, such that my feet were facing his head, I pushed my newly reinforced foot out with all my might. The heel of my foot landed solidly into his unprotected face, shaving off some of his hp.! It didn't stop there so I couldn't either.

"AAAHHHH!!!" The one with the mace swung it to my current position but, using the push from my kick, I back flipped from where I was, thus his attack past through thin air! While I was in the air I reinforced my entire body and assessed my new opponent. Under the hood he had on a lvl5 Iron Helmet that covered his head fully, so that last move won't work on him. However, his torso was only protected by a lvl2 Leather Tunic, which, thanks to that reckless attack, was currently wide open. I might not be able to deal as much damage as the first one got, but I might be able to stun him with the right move. With that in mind I landed into a perfect start off pose.

*ELBOW THRUST!!!*

I shot off towards him, bracing my legs and setting my elbow and my body for an elbow jab and dropped a lot of force into it. My actions caught him by surprise and by the time he recovered and attempted to block it, it was already too late. My elbow slammed into his stomach hard, drawing forth a satisfying *oof* from him!

With both of them stunned within 10 seconds, I subconsciously turned my attention to Angus' fight. And might I say she was killing it!

Apparently one of the items that came from killing the X-gremlin are Flint Daggers.....5 of them to be exact. They are quite easy to come by in Area3 and are even more so in Area4 so it's quite understandable as to why that's so. And right now she's using them to the fullest of her abilities!

One of the dudes she's fighting is armed with a spear, and the other one with twin swords. And their hp. was almost to 3/4! Looks like she's giving them a run for their money!

The spear guy took a jab at her but she parred it away from her with two of her daggers and rushed in for a slice. She was moving so fast she was almost a blur, but the twin swords dude was faster! Before she could strike he rushed in from behind and blocked her move! She backed off of him and rushed in again, preparing for a close range fight, but the swordsman jumped out of the way at the last moment for the spearman's attack to go through! She was caught by surprise but luckily blocked it in time. Still though, the attack was so strong, she lost some hp. upon impact and got knocked back! They're better than I thought.

"Angus!" I cried. Before I could run over to aid her though, I sensed an attack head for my head! I dodged just in time, but I couldn't get any essence flowing so it was way too close for comfort!

"It would be wise not to underestimate us brat!" Said the swordsman who nearly ran my head through. Looks like my stun only lasts for a few seconds, but I expected this, so who am I to blame?

He started to come after me harder and faster! This is my first time using my Body Reinforcement Mastery like this so I can't get it to activate without concentrating. Also, it takes a while to get started and if I stop midway, it won't activate. Therefore, this guy slashing after me with probably one-hit-K.O. attacks at three or four slashes per second is not working to my advantage! If I don't turn this around in my favor soon, I'm not gonna have any stamina left!!!

If only I could get something to stop his attacks! Then it hit me! I still have that other mastery. It might inflict some damage but it's better than dying! After dodging yet another slash I held my ground and put my hand up as if to catch the next attack. He didn't grow wary of my actions. Instead the idiot decided to add even more force to his blade, like he thinks I'm naive enough to try and stop a blade with nothing but gloves. I felt my essence rush to my palm with incredible speed just as the edge of the blade was about to touch my palm.

*EXPLOSION!!!*

A bomb went off in the palm of my hand, hitting the blade point blank at its tip, causing it to be flung from the guy's hand! The explosion itself wasn't all that, in fact it was only as powerful as half a stick of dynamite even though I poured more than half my essence into it, but it did the job!

I took the opportunity and jumped and used Bash on his face for a critical strike, resulting in him being sent to the ground.

Still though, I'm quite lucky. If he maintained his grip on his sword I wouldn't have been able to disarm him. Regardless of whether or not their underhanded method of getting levels is insufficient in the long run, the fact still remains that he is much stronger than me. I need to go all out to have a chance at this!

I spared myself a second to see how far the recoil would drag my hp to, only to find that this time, I wasn't hit with the recoil! I stood there for a moment, surprised at the new development... is what I would like to say, but before I could feel surprised I felt an attack coming from my side! It was set so that if I duck, it would hit my head and if I jump, it would hit, and possibly break, my legs!

Damn it all, what am I gonna do now?!

*SLASH**SLASH**CLANK!**TRUST*

"Darn it, why are these guys so f****** annoying! They're really giving me a workout!" I muttered to myself as I jumping back from these goons block-n'-strike combination for the up-tenth time. Jeez, every f****** time I try to go after the spear wielder, that pesky twin head decides to run in and block him. And when I try to take him on, the damn tooth pick decides to drive me away with his spear. And to make it worse, any freaking attempt I have made thus far to break up the cycle was brutishly thrown out of the way and I'm right back to square 1!!!

Man! A few seconds ago I was tearing through them and their sad excuse for a team attack with my new flint daggers (well partially new as they came out of that Boss monster with damage already done to them, but you get the idea), but then the little s**** got smart and..... yeah you can figure the rest out.

I tried for maybe the third or fourth time now to go after the twin sword dude because he's the one who's giving me the most trouble. I decided then to switch tactics a bit!

*QUICK SPRINT!!!*

I drew out two bone daggers and dashed towards him, moving so fast that I was a blur. The toothpick tried to intercept but I was already moving too fast for anything to hit me. I reached him in record time, bringing my hands over my head in preparation for a double overhead slash. He saw the attack coming and put his blades up to block it, just as I intended! I brought my blades down hard on his owns, slackening my hold on them so that they went flying into the air. At this, he visibly relaxed..... his first mistake!

My arms, still having much of their momentum, shot to my sides for my flint daggers as they came down.

*TWIN QUICK DRAW!!!*

The moment my hands fell to my side I drew two of my flint daggers and slashed in the unprotected gap in-between his tunic and leggings before sheathing them as suddenly as I unsheathed them, taking quite a lot of his hp. down in the process. My attack was so fast and unexpected, he just stood there, stunned for a few seconds. I did a mental victory dance while diving in for another attack.

My euphoria was short lived, however, when out of seemingly nowhere, I felt a sharp stab to my side as a spear ran through me! I turned to see the damned f***** toothpick, reprimanding myself for forgetting that he existed.

I pulled myself from the tip of the weapon and went in close for a slash at him, only to have to duck mid way as the twin head, who broke out of his trance, swung one of his blades at my head! And, surprise surprise, in no time at all I was back to square-f******-one!!!! Jeez, this is getting nowhere! I was running out of Stamina and ep and was about to lose it right then and there, when some inspiration hit me.

The spear dude came after me again and I jumped back, charging towards him for another strike. The sword guy, hp. bar now in the yellow thanks to that last attack, was wary of me now and not as eager to jump in. I used this to my advantage. Just as I got to the spear guy's range of attack I did something they never saw coming, I threw a bone dagger.

*PARALYSIS SHOT!*

The dagger buried itself into the spear dude's shoulder, paralyzing him! They froze for a second at the new development, but one second was all I needed! I jumped up and landed on the hilt of my dagger and used it as a launch pad to send me high into the sky, sending the blade deeper into the man's shoulder for good measure!

'This is my only chance. I have to take him out with this move!' I thought to myself as I was in the air, taking aim at my target as I throw my five flint daggers and a bone dagger into the air.

*REVOLVER SHOT!!!*

Everything slowed down and I threw my daggers at the little s******* at full force, each and every one of them landing a hit, one almost going right through him! His pupils dilated in fear as the pain registered all too late, and he gasped as he witnessed his hp drop to 0! I checked to find that I had 2 seconds left before I jump out of my current state and into paralysis. With this in mind I made a drastic leap for the bushes to hide out the 30 seconds of paralysis, however.....

*zip*

*thunk!!!*

I felt a sharp pain in my back as a heavy weight was brought down upon it, hard! I looked up to be greeted by the faces of both of Nylon's opponents, and no sign of him anywhere!

"What did you do to Nylon!" I screamed out, fearing the worst.

"We already took care of your boyfriend you little b****! And your next!" The vile man spat out. I made to stand and try to escape, only to feel the paralysis set in!

Oh s*** I'm screwed!
