He pinned me against the poplar tree at the center of the garden. A breeze rustled past, stirring the sunlight sparkling through the autumn foliage above us, and a sprinkle of gold fell over his shoulders. "Say you want me," he whispered.
"Bai Ye—" I breathed, but the rest of my words were replaced by moans the moment he traced his kisses along my neck and took my earlobe into his mouth.
Familiar tingles roared through me as he nibbled and suckled gently. His hand slid up my chest, and he played with my sensations with his lips and tongue and fingers until my arms trembled around him. All other thoughts vanished from my mind. The only thing I knew was the irresistible feeling of him on me, so overwhelming that my knees started growing weak. I would've fallen if he wasn't pinning me hard against the tree.
"Bai Ye …" I moaned again, clawing at his clothes. "Of course I want you … Right here, right now."
He let out a soft puff of laughter, and his hand grazed down, gripping the folds of my dress. With a rip of fabric, he tore them away.

I am in awe of this book, from the way it’s beautifully written (it is stunningly beautiful), to the storyline, and the characters themselves. Seriously, the details the author uses to paint the world the characters live in and how she describes and uses the most amazing imagery to set it all up. Just WOW. And the depth of the Bai Ye and Yun Qing-er. I cannot get enough. Their love story has so much passion and thoughtfulness entertwined and tightly tangled. And I’m only on Chapter 55! It’s that good!!! Please read this. You are seriously missing out on a beautiful love story. You can tell the author cares so much about her story and how she tells it. So so so good!!!!

An interesting take on cultivation, focusing rather on romance. The book cover is amazing, synopsis alluring and the contents... An lovely and intriguing story i've ever read. I got bored and this novel saved me. At first I was confused with the characters because it's hard for me to remember their names (You know I was not that really fan at chinese name) but at the end I fell inlove with them! and looking forward for them.☺️ After all your work is well written it's easy for me to understand and it's give me idea to apply it to myself. A more than pleasant bump into this story that I usually won't give it a go. Thought a cultivator's world is something too fairy tale like / imaginary to my liking. Boy I was caught off guard. The writer's amazing penmanship is able to transport me to fighting scenes, back in time scenes, mystical creatures and magic scenes, steamy sensual scenes... you name it... all effortlessly. The plot and character developments are beautiful and the pace is just right. No boring draggy parts, no loopholes with good editing. Recommend readers to reread the story again to appreciate the back story more. 👍
nothing can be better than this...i m loving it so muh that 3 am is like 3 pm for me while reading it. BAI YE...i can feel his gentle nature to my bones including his white robes....how i wish there was such a Chinese drama!!!!!!..but there is not....atleast a comic can do.. but nohting can compare this written novel....yet to read it completely and i m gonna do it. I like the development of the main female character. the cultivation steps are believable and straight forward. Interesting swords - Twin Star.
at 53 chapters looking forward to more. all the questions that Bai Ye unanswered are my questions too.. that seems to be mystery as well. what happened to Qing in her 6th year fever. why are so many healed n healing scars on BY's chest? why did BY take YQ as his disciple, other than to know closely 😬... What is the dues between the masters? why would gatekeeper take a drastic step is kill YQ's meridian? sooo many questions..
Im shook. I really am. The unholy chaps have me floored. This author writes so well, their way of showing, not telling is so nice...i was thoroughly absorbed. I wish I could read more and I'll be waiting for updates. Keep it up!

The story was very well written and the flow of the plot even if its still in the first few chapters, they were already interesting. I would really look forward if this story were to be made a tv series or a movie. There were littlo to no flaws in use of words and nothing is too major that could turn off the hype of the readers while reading. This was a wonderful story great job author!

I'm not really into stories that was set in a long time ago where ppl where traditional clothes and all, but this book is great! It's a bonus point that it includes superpower, spells & magic (smtg like that)! It's worth to read as Bai Ye is always so cuteeeeeeeee I love him sm <3333
M.a.s.t.e.r.p.i.e.c.e Exquisite read and well written story. Compelling lead characters design and immersive details. The first thing that stands out is the beautiful writing, it flows nicely and is immensely descriptive, capable of instantly pulling the readers in and enchanting them. Everything about this book is captivating and alluring, from the concept, which suits my very cup of tea, to the immersive details of cultivation world. I just couldn't get enough of Yun Qing'er, such a sexy and very lovable female character. Not to mention that the romance is extremely hot and steamy. Exquisite work, Witchhazel! I hope you can write this book to the very end and please don't drop it, it's one of my most favourite books.
