Chapter 11: Chapter 11: Violence!
Cahaya POV
So Louis messed up big time, he overdosed on the paste or 'SubDolores' Dad's name, not mine. I said one spoon of coffee every 10 hours on the wounded area, he took more than that, and now he won't be able to walk for the next 48 hours.
The side effect of overdose is temporary paralysis, it depends on how much the beast has used but in extreme cases, it can lead to death by asphyxiation. Luckily, Louis isn't suicidal enough but just reckless, very reckless.
It's also partly my fault, I should have anticipated he would have used too much with how obsessed he was with playing Adler.
The nurse didn't notice or didn't say anything about it, she could lose her job or her life due to Louis's status as the heir of The Horns Conglomerate.
And now I'm talking about the fact that we hid his injury in front of the drama club, in front of everyone, fun.
"Are we going to talk about how both didn't say a thing about this? How could you simply hide something so important from us!", questioned an angry and worried Sheila while pointing a clawed finger at me.
The others whispered between themselves in agreement, some already throwing blame, they were getting riled up for no reason but stress, slightly annoying. Not all of them were like this, Bill, Legoshi, Sanu, Dom and Riz were mostly calm.
I clapped my hand so hard and in a way that it broke most of their bones in the process, an audible crack of bones could be heard accompanied by the very loud clapping sound of my hands, making all of them visibly cringe and wince, they lowered or plugged their ears if they had any due to the noise.
'I love how most are sensitive to sound, it's very funny to see them react like this when something too noisy happens.', was my thought at their reactions while I also took pleasure in it.
"So are we going to talk about the fact that nobody here saw how he had problems walking, his abnormally swollen leg, how he was more sluggish, how he seemed more stressed, no, nobody?", I inquire with a piercing stare at the jaguar and the others making some flinch, then paused.
I showed my two mending hands and wrists where my wiggling broken bones could be seen through my skin, slowly creeping back in their right places, making most of them look in morbid curiosity or away in disgust, "You didn't notice this type of injury or if you did, didn't do much. I did help, I don't say what I did was right, I should have forced him to go to the hospital and told you, instead. But I at least did something.", I finished and made multiple rotations of my hands with my healed wrists, 'Hmm I heal faster than before.', I noted, pleased with the news.
Silence, most looked ashamed of themselves. Good. They know their place and that I'm right. I might have overdone it a bit though with how Bill glared dagger at me as if I had betrayed him.
"Changing subject, Bill-senpai you already know the lines and everything for Adler but Legoshi-senpai will need to learn everything in less than two days.", I declared, Legoshi startled, still trying to hide behind the blackboard but his grey tail was visible.
"Can it be someone else, please? They are other better than me.", he bargained with a bit of desperation in his voice, his ears flopped down just like his gaze fixed on the ground.
"No, it's non-negotiable.", I mercilessly crushed his hopes. He looked even more depressed than before.
The rest of the night continued, the rehearsal was going normally, the sword fight between Bill and Legoshi was interesting, and the wolf can surprisingly growl and show his fang. They both seemed to have fun, at least Bill had.
Today was the last day of 'Adler' and it will start in a few minutes, I was on my phone sending messages to Dad we were texting about his elite class program, even if it's 'True' History they won't study a lot of things, only the basis in both of us point of view, they will learn how most dogs were made and why, the Herbi-Carni war, what are Nature and Life animals. To cite only those. So very lacking for what they consider the cream of the crop.
For example, they won't talk about the Dead Zone or under its real name the American continent and how most of it is made up of radioactive wastelands or submerged under the sea.
The only location with a lot of 'living organisms' is the mutated plant-fleshy forest around the Gulf of Mexico. The Garden mysteriously started to grow after the bombing and is still a mystery as of today but I suspect it's possibly linked to the meteorite.
I heard the sound of the door opening and closing, and then Sanu worriedly asked, "Are you ready? Did you sleep well?"
"Well, yeah.", Bill replied, I looked up from my phone. I saw Legoshi start to sniff the air and Bill like a dog and with a frown, curious I flicked my bifid tongue out and brought it back at the top of my palette.
'Hmm deer smell, medicine… he probably talked to Louis in the infirmary. And a hint… hmm blood? Well, it's not from Louis that certain, so he must be probably doping himself with the blood of I don't know what.', I looked intrigued by the scene unfolding before my eyes.
"Arg! I gotta go to the bathroom!", Bill cried out, then followed by Legoshi who said at Sanu before running after the tiger, "I'll be right back.", they are super suspicious.
"Hey, we only have 10 minutes!", exclaimed Dom next to me. I put my phone back into my bag, then said, "Gotta follow the two lover birds if they need to 'relieve' themselves it's after the play not before.", I did accentuate the 'relieve' with an air quote making Kibi deadpan me while Dom giggled.
I slithered to the bathroom, I could faintly hear their muffled voice and the ground vibration of something hitting something, 'Are they really…'.
I sighed, took the handle, prepared for the worst and opened the door to my relief, I discover a furious Bill in the Adler costume without the skull, stomping in my direction and behind him, Legoshi bathed in the light moonlight looking contemplative and furious.
He looked shocked to see me standing in front of him, my long body blocking the exit.
"If you start fighting on stage I will break both of your spines and make you both impotent.", I threatened them, making both gulps in fear and fur stand on end, fully knowing that I'm perfectly capable of doing just that, not that I will go that far for the spine that is.
"If you wish to do your fight for a little bit of blood, do it after the play and out of sigh.", that made Bill realise I knew about the blood he has on his person and that I didn't care he doped himself.
"How?", he inquired, Legoshi also seemed curious. I stared up at the two as if they were the biggest imbeciles before replying matter of factly, "Other animals can also smell, you know."

Third POV
The second play of Adler was simply worse than the last, Bill was simply less talented and put less of himself into it than Louis, at the end, Legoshi almost started to fight Bill for real but he recalled Cahaya's threat and that rapidly calmed the lovestruck wolf, he didn't want to lose a part of what made him a male.
Most new students that didn't see the first were disappointed by the lack of character. They asked themselves where was Louis and why the two actors had changed. The tiger was ok and the wolf creepy seemingly angry at the tiger.
After the end of the play just outside of the drama club, Legoshi started the fight with a right punch to Bill's right eye, caught by surprise he didn't at the time to react, the other members and more gasped in shock or looked in interest at what was unfolding before there eyes.
The first was followed by a second then a third followed by another to finally be caught by the tiger paw. The grey wolf growled at that.
Bill glared with his only good eye and made a fanged grin, too happy to be able to vent his pent-up frustration and fueled by too much adrenaline to care about the pain in his swelling black eye, he would use his pent-up frustration on him, he then grabbed the incoming left fist of the wolf.
Making them be at a standstill, both unable to attack each other. Bill annoyed by this released both of Legoshi's fists catching him off guard, he then bears hugged him from the front, clutching both of Legoshi's arms.
He then started to shred the cloth of the other back with his claws, drawing blood for everyone to see as the claws then started to tear at the fur and flesh of Legoshi who was now out of his stupor and whimpered in pain. His warm blood falls to the ground.
Bill growled out arrogantly, "Don't challenge m-", and froze when he felt two clawless hands gently holding onto both of his shoulders, starting to put pressure on them.
He looked up to meet to his immense horror, Cahaya's angry and vibrant lavender eyes looking not so amusedly into his now pin-prick-sized ones, he could only discern the eyes, the amphibian black scale perfectly mixing with the starless sky of the night, hiding them from his night vision.
He felt at this moment like weak little prey in front of his worst predator.
'He's going to eat me! I am going to die! Help! Please…', was his thought while his instincts screamed at him to run away. But he couldn't, he felt something smooth coil around him.
He tentatively peered down to see himself and Legoshi trapped around Cahaya's body. Making his terror rise even higher.
Then he heard the snake whisper coldly with a slight hiss, making him have goosebumps, while the grip on his shoulders started to become painful, he could feel his bones move unnaturally, "I'm not here for 2 fucking minutesss and you're already at easssch othersss throatsss like rabid animals.", he then noticed the seemingly calm brown bear and asked, back in his usual warm and pleasant tone with a tilt of his head, "Riz-senpai who started this?"
The bear in question pointed his clawed finger in Legoshi's direction. Cahaya nodded and thanked him.
The wolf abruptly woke up from his daze with the calm but cold voice of Cahaya, "Out of sight, I said do it out of sight where you could fight to your heart content, but no, nooo. You punched him directly in front of everyone, multiples times." he condemned Legoshi whose ears flopped down in guilt.
Cahaya turned his attention back to the bengal tiger.
While the tiger felt his two arms be dislocated and whimpered, "and you clawed his back and draw blood in front of everyone.", he the paused, the atmosphere was heavy, before continuing, "You both luckily will only have this injury today. Go to the infirmary by yourself your both large carnivore after all and I hope you learned your lessons and won't do that again."
He finished with a smile, slowly uncoiling himself, cleaning the blood off his scales and ultimately removing his hand from Bill's shoulders.
Making the tiger gasp for air, Bill felt intense relief at this moment, he looked back at Cahaya, now fully understanding why he didn't care for his status as a large carnivore, he was a simple prey for the amphibian and that scared him deeply.
Legoshi on the other hand was incredibly ashamed of himself and in pain than anything else remotely close to the freshly traumatised tiger.

The next week, at the stairs entrance a young and beautiful female grey wolf with curly brown fur could be seen.
She was looking with her terrified blue eyes at a grey racoon who he was holding and violently pulling her arm while she struggled to get away.
A brown eagle could see be also seen behind the racoon, he was pointing with his wing at his phone while proclaiming with a sneer, "Look at the news!"
His friend then added with contempt in his voice and pulled harder, "They say the leader of the suspects was a grey wolf."
"And?", what was the racoon heard before feeling his forearm holding the wolf starting to bend the wrong way.
"Wha-haaaaa!! Please, let me go! I say let me go! It hurt… please.", he started to cry and sob then looked at the black scaly arm of his aggressor before going silent, "Shit… please, no.", he murmured, he knew he was fucked same for his 'friend' who tried to run away but his wing holding his phone was currently getting crushed by a green finned tail and he shrieked in pure agony, feather, bones, flesh and pieces of metals getting mixed together.
He would never be able to fly or fly very poorly. He let go of his hold, of the potentially crippled chicken and the broken mess of a trash-eating mammal who stared petrified, at the two white bones poking out of his flaccid arm.
He won't have any problems, the headmaster is with him and his Dad. And he didn't kill anyone.
"Typical bully two against one… *sigh*", Cahaya sighed not caring about the bully moaning in agony on the floor and gazed at the crying wolf on the floor who mumbled while looking at the ground, "Why?"
