Chapter 189: Consoling

Lyra ignored Lucas' call and continued to walk toward her room. She hurriedly climbed the stairs and soon reached her room.

Just when she was about to enter, she felt a pair of strong arms encircling her waist. 

''I'm sorry.....'' She was ready to struggle out of his hold but stopped when she heard his earnest plea. 

Lucas dipped his nose in the crook of her neck and whispered, ''I'm really sorry, Ly. It is not that we don't trust you, but we are just scared that you could feel hurt after hearing everything''

''I'm not that weak, Lucas''
