Chapter 30: A victory with many regrets (1)
Kyle was looking for any weakness, but even reaching the big orc was a challenge. The spear that had already exploded formed back into a very sharp-looking long spear.
*"Now, let's start again."* The orc said and waved his hand again, the spear went towards kyle at a brisk speed.
Pew!
Kyle took a deep imaginary breath to calm his imaginary nerves down. After seeing the normal skeleton dying in front of him, Kyle was cursing himself for not buying good armor.
"Don't let it reach you!" he dashed in the opposite direction after giving the command, the possibility of the spear attacking his skeletons was high.
Kyle's speed was not one to look down upon, his stamina was unlimited while dexterity was high enough to outrun the spear.
*" Keke! is this your strategy? running away? kekeke.."* The orc kept snickering at Kyle antics.
But Kyle was not fazed by it, he knew he could not defeat the damn orc normally. So the idea of making his mana run out was the most plausible.
*" Let's increase the difficulty."* The orc grinned and made a hand action again. The speed of the spear increased and it reached very near Kyle.
'Fuck! It will explode!' Kyle thought and tried to increase his speed but to his disappointment, he was already running to his utmost limit.
"Ugh! FUCK it!!" Kyle slowed himself and slashed his sword toward the spear. He could not see the face of the orc but the others could see a sadistic smile on the orc's face.
The spear on the sword's contact got sliced into two making Kyle happy, but even after a second, neither did the two parts dissipate nor fell on the ground. Kye looked at the orc who was now using 2 of his hands.
He immediately looked back at the two floating sticks, the one that was blunt made some sound and finally, the tip of it became sharp like the other.
A shiver ran down Kyle's spine, he could only think of one thing 'RUN!'. Yes, he started running again. The two spears started following him at the command of the orc.
The skeletons on the other had were just mindlessly following the order of running.
SHING!
The speed of one of them increased trying to hit his rib but Kyle dodged it. The spear went a little ahead, stopped, and flew back toward him.
Kyle's eyes shone in understatement, these spears didn't have a mind of their own, they were being controlled by the orc and the orc himself was not omnipotent. Upon looking at the orc, he found that he was doing nothing but waving his hand around.
'I can't do anything but flee right now, might as well try it.' he thought. Kyle looked vigilantly towards the spear at the back.
The spear, like before tried to attack kyle again, this time at the leg, a smart move.
"HAAH!" Kyle shouted and attacked the spear again, this time the spear attacking him got itself slashed at its pointy head. It cut and under Kyle's satisfied gaze, the cut part dissolved into small brown particles and fell on the ground.
Alicia and the goblins were looking at the fight with their own set of emotions. Alicia on one hand was concerned for the well-being of Kyle while the latter only cared about themselves. If a person as strong as Kyle couldn't defeat the big bitch, then their survival was nigh impossible.
"Go, Kyle! Kill that dumb bastard!" Alicia exclaimed loudly while smiling excitingly getting the full attention of the orc.
*"Shut up bitch! You dare disrespect me!? The great Kaligahri!?"* The orc was very loud, Kyle could see a new set of emotions on its face making it yet more ugly.
The orc was very angry, its eyes were bloodshot and he took deep breaths from his mouth.
*" RAAARGHHH!"* he roared and stopped the hand movement.
Kyle stopped his sprint, and upon turning back, he saw the 2 spears dissipate into thin particles falling on the ground painting it brown.
The orc in anger grabbed a side of his house and pulled it.
CRACK!
A huge lump of the house came in his hand. He looked at Alicia with murder in his eyes and with one last roar, he threw the lump at her.
"WATCH OUT!"
It was not just Alicia, the goblins were also in danger. Abrel thought quickly and grabbed Alicia's hand who froze while looking at the slow-moving crater coming toward her, with one big jump, they both came out of the hitting zone. The other goblins did the same.
But two of them were not so lucky, The crater fell on them squashing the goblins into a thin pancake.

[Slave#12 died]
Kyle was not looking at the dead goblins nor the notifications. He was looking at Abrel with conflicted emotions.
'How long will you keep holding her hand?!' He roared inwardly.
But he quickly calmed his mind, it was a good opportunity, the orc had gone nuts and went to pick another crater.
Kyle gripped his sword tightly and went running toward the orc. The orc wasn't noticing anything. With such an opportunity, Kyle didn't want to just hurt him, he wanted to just kill the thing fast.
A huge lump came out of the big house making the contents inside visible. He with the crater in hand turned around. Kyle who was going for the neck smirked inwardly.
SWING!
The sword swung horizontally at one of the eyes of the orc. Its face was big enough to only get hit by the swing in a small area which was the eye. blood came out as the eyeball cut opened.
*"ARRRGHHHHHH!!!!!"* A loud shriek came out of the big guy's mouth which Kyle weirdly found satisfying.
If it was some other orc, Kyle would have had leisure time to give the killing blow slowly but this orc calmed his wits and looked at Kyle with his only eye furiously.
"What? Don't want to laugh again?" Kyle said while laughing which came creepy.
"Alicia! attack this little kitten, will you?" Kyle's arrogance increased while looking at the orc's misery. The one that was dominating the fight just a few seconds ago was now trying to stop the endless bleeding.
But it didn't stop, the blood just came out endlessly making the left side of his face bloody red.
Alicia became ready and shot an arrow for the first time on this floor.
PEW!
The arrow went to the gut and hit it, the tip went a centimeter in and got stuck. The skin was just too tough and thick. But Alicia was not worried, she just hit another and then another and then another while Kyle kept the orc busy.
