Chapter 65: Chapter 63 Rias 1
Rias POV
My name is Rias Gremory. I am Heir of the Gremory Household of devils. I am also the little sister of Devil King. When I was little, people around me always used to treat me like a princess. Well, I am a princess after all. I also inherited the bloodline ability of the Bael household which is the power of destruction. As a pure-blooded devil and Heir of Gremory household people around me always praised me for my talent.
But all of this was all but fake to me. Nobody cares real me except my family. There is also Heir of Sitri household who is similar to my age and has similar circumstances like me. She is also the little sister of a Devil King. But unlike me, she is far more intelligent than any young devil of her age. She also has strong bloodline magic like me of water. She also has a dream to open a school of rating games for the low-class devil who didn't get any support at all. Noble right? But I don't have any of those things. All I can do is to take a position as head of the Gremory household.
But... I want something else. I want my people who will support me. When I received my evil pieces, I was happy that finally, I will have my friends who I will treat them like family. But someone once said, 'powers come with responsibility.' I knew that managing a peerage is very difficult. You have to keep an eye on your peerage so that they won't fall for their selfish desires and becomes stray. It is said to be very difficult but I don't care, I am Heir of great Gremory household of devils, and its not a big deal.
The First who becomes a member of my peerage is Shirone or now Koneko Toujo. She is the little sister of Kuroka, ss class stray devil. My brother found her in an unknown research facility ran by a branch of the Nerbeus family. She was not in mind to talk to anyone since she had seen her sister drunk in power and killed her master. My brother never disclosed any real information about what happened to her and her big sister. It seems like my brother didn't want to deal with the old devil, the trouble makers, so he declared her sister as stray. I stayed with Koneko and talked a lot with her to make her adapt to life. She later becomes my Rook.
Then comes, a half-fallen angel Akeno Himejima. I found her in Kuoh Town after she interfered with a devil from the Gremory household. Like Koneko, she was also scared since her mother died and her father was not there to save them. After we took her in our protection against a deal with the Himejima clan to let be under the Gremory household, she was sad for that. We can't go against the Himejima clan since it comes under the Shinto faction and we are currently in charge of a town in Japan, which comes under Shinto Gods but that clan didn't want Akeno, a half-fallen angel related to their clan. She is also the daughter of a leader of Grigori, Baraquiel. But she hated her father for that. He later opens herself to me and became my Queen.
Then later I found Gasper Vladi, a half-vampire, dhampir exactly. She, no he was dead when I found her, no him on my tour to Romania with my brother. I also found out that he was a Longinus user. That's good, the first person with sacred gear in my peerage. He was the first who I resurrected as a devil and also a sacred gear user. He became my Bishop.
I also found Kiba in the same dying state. I hurriedly used my Knight piece to rescue him. He was a victim of the 'Holy sword project' but the project was a failure and the researcher who conducted this, decided to kill all of the children of that project. He was first distrustful of me since I am a devil but after some time he opened up to me and decided to take the name that I suggested, Kiba Yuto. He became my Knight.
I was very happy with them. Akeno, as my best friend, Koneko as my little sister, Kiba as my sincere subject, and Vasper as my awkward little sis-brother. The friends that I can rely on, my royal subject who can also rely on me.
Later I find out that my brother fixed my marriage with riser who is the third son of the Phenex clan, a legendary clan known for their immortal power. He was also strong with his magic and with rating games too. He had won many rating games but the most disgusting thing about him was that he was scumbag down to the core. He was an arrogant bastard who has peerage full of females. He also makes out with all of them. I don't know why my brother and father can't just let me have a peaceful life. I started to hate things like that.
But I ignore all of this since it was still soon. Sona also declined her marriage partner by defeating him in chess and made a condition that she will only marry when someone can defeat her in chess. I can do that too. I was confident in that. But I needed to fill my peerage to at least fill my peerage to put up a good fight against him in rating games when I will be an adult. I thought I had time but I was wrong, when I was in my third year, Lord Phenex started to pester my brother to hold my marriage ceremony as soon as possible.
I then begin my search for more potential members. Unlike Sona, who invited all of the members by herself, who don't have that great talent like my peerage, I cant do the same since I want potential individuals. Then I finally found the boy that I was looking for. His name was Issei Hyoudo. I found out that he had potential sacred gear but the problem was, he was incredibly weak and I don't have any idea how will I invite him to my peerage.
I then started to monitor him. I was not in hurry, I was not just waiting for the time when he will be in danger, no I was just waiting for the right time. Yes, I was waiting for the right time. And that time came when a fallen angel was started interacting with him. I knew that sooner or later he will be in danger, and at that time I will save him and offer him to join my peerage. He was a pervert but I have a good body and with this, his sacred gear will be developed further. I give my summoning contract to him which will summon me when he will be in danger because, by little blood, it will start the contract.
And that's what happened, but unfortunately, he was killed and that fallen angel getaway. It doesn't matter, I get my pawn. He consumed my all pawns for resurrection and it means that he has good potential but for that, I have to work hard. He also has a sacred gear, a Longinus actually with good potential. I healed him and he was back to new. I told him all about devils and how became one, but instead of being angry like Kiba or sad like Koneko and Akeno, he was very happy because he can fulfill his dream of becoming a harem king! Funny, isn't it?
He was also an honest person and cared deeply for his friends. His only problem was that he was a pervert and has very weak magic. Later he got interact with a girl from church who was also a sacred gear user but I don't want to deal with church and heaven just for some power. I tried to stop him from meeting with her but he didn't listen and got himself trouble with them. Thankfully, they were dealing independently from Grigori so I can fight them without provoking fallen angels and get that girl Asia Argento as my peerage member. I confronted the fallen angel but she already killed Asia, took her sacred gear away, and became its new holder but that's no problem because that sacred gear didn't fully merge with the fallen angel. I was about to kill her but stopped when a boy came.
He had black silky hair and blue eyes. He was also fairly tall and could be called handsome. But that was not important, he was interfering with my business here. He said he could take out sacred gear without killing that fallen angel. It was impossible since sacred gears came with the human soul. It could be extracted but could only be used by a human, half-human, or anyone who has human blood in their pure form. I was a little wary of him since he was speaking something next to impossible. Suddenly fallen angel attacked him but he swiftly dodged the attack and knocked her out. He was a normal human on the outside but had inhuman strength inside.
Later he used ancient rune magic to take out sacred gear easily and told me to use it on Asia. I took my guard because I know how hard rune magic could be. Only people alive who use rune magic are Gods related to different factions. He didn't use any ordinary but ancient rune magic which was only master by Odin, the God of Norse mythology. He sounded so casual that it felt like he knew what I was going to do. Not waiting for further I successfully get another of my peerage member.
But I can't celebrate now because my mind was constantly was that young boy who does this difficult work without much effort. He was looking at me no to my boobs but it was not new to me, males like them stare at me everywhere and I am used to it. But something was giving me the creeps, it was like he was reading me like an open book. He had this mischievous smile on his face. He scanned all my members and smirked.
The ones who were acting weird were Akeno and Issei. When I talked to him, I found out that he was aware that we were devils and also that I am related to someone with a high position in the underworld. Also, he seems racist to me. He was referring to us as bats and fallen angels as crows. Was he related to Greek God Hades? When I asked his name, he called himself Yukio Shinkai and first time, I felt that he was going to destroy everything I had.

Decided to write with different point of view. She will eat three chapters. Two chapters for tomorrow. Also, I find out in last chapter comments that there are two factions. Rias and Anti-Rias. I will cheer for both. I won't support either one of them since it depends on how you portray Rias.
