Chapter 8: Becoming a hero again!
Izuku woke up and felt arms around him, making him look back and saw Aizawa he blushed a little. He looked at Elizabeth in his arms and gently wiggled out and put Elizabeth in Aizawa's hold. He walked out of the room and went to the kitchen. He made pancakes and set the table real quick. He took a deep breath in before shouting. "BREAKFASTS GET OUT OF BED LOVES!" He yelled on the top of his lungs. He heard some thumps on the floor, making him laugh. Izuku set the syrup and butter on the table. Izuku saw Eri with crazy bed hair sitting down. "Hey love, you ready for school today?" Izuku asked, smiling. Eri smiled excitedly. "Yeah!" She yelled, "Kota is in your class, the boy you used to hang with when you were young. I'm not sure if you remember him or not though-" Izuku was caught off by Eri's blush, making him smirk. "Oooh~ I see." Izuku said in a teasing way. "STOP IT!!" She yelled, making Izuku laugh. Izuku saw Aizawa come out with Elizabeth in his arms. "Did I miss something?" Aizawa asked, "Eri has a crush on Kota." Izuku said, smirking. Aizawa only smirked, "Ahh, the mini bakugou." Aizawa said, making Izuku snicker. Aizawa put Elizabeth down and kissed Izuku before sitting down himself.
Izuku walked to James room and opened the door to see him still sleeping. Izuku had an evil smirk on his face. Je walked up to James bed and flipped it over. "GET YOUR ASS UP!" Izuku yelled, making him stumble onto his feet. "Ah! I'm sorry!" James yelled, tripping to put on clothes. Izuku chuckled, before walking out. Izuku sat down, smiling pouring syrup on Elizabeth's pancake then his. "What was the loud thump?" Aizawa asked, "James falling out of bed with his mattress." Izuku said, making Eri and Elizabeth giggle. "More like daddy flipping his mattress over with, big brother still in bed." Elizabeth said, giggling. Aizawa chuckled at that. "I have to drop off the kids before going to UA." Izuku said, smiling. "Will we see you at school, dad." Eri asked, "Probably not, unless something happens." Izuku said, smiling. They all ate smiling a bit.
Eri and Elizabeth went to there rooms to get changed as James went to the bathroom. Izuku put the dishes in the sink and Aizawa followed him to his room. "Are we able to tell people about our relationship?" Aizawa asked, smiling a little. "Of course." Izuku said, smiling. "K." Aizawa said, watching Izuku get dressed in a black t-shirt and jeans.
They walked out the door taking Elizabeth and James to their bus stop, before going off to UA. When they got inside, they set off in different directions.
Izuku walked into Nezu's office, seeing All Might. "Hey, I'm here." Izuku said, smiling. "Hey young Midoriya, are you ready for the exam?" All Might said, "I'm a little nervous, but I bet I can do it." Izuku said, smiling. All Might laughed, "Do your best out there." All Might said, hugging Izuku and Izuku hugged back. "We must get going, we don't want to be late." Nezu said, smiling. "Got it, hey All Might text my old class and the old teachers in UA, that there will be a reunion at my shop, but don't say I'll be there." Izuku said, winking. He laughed at this, "You got it, young Midoriya!" All Might said, patting Izuku's shoulder.
Izuku followed Nezu out of the building. They got into the car and there was silence. Izuku sweat dropped a little. "So, how have you been?" Izuku asked, "I have been quite fine, how about you?" Nezu asked, smiling. "I have been good." Izuku asked, after that was an awkward silence. The car pulled up to a large building. "Ahh, we're here." Nezu said, smiling. Izuku looked out the window and saw a building that is tall as a sky scraper. "Damn, that's big." Izuku said, then thought over what he said and blushed. Nezu laughed, "Lets go in." Nezu said, smiling. They got out of the car and walked inside the building. A man with glasses walked up to them. "Good morning, Mr. Midoriya and Nezu." The man said, bowing. "You too, do you mind taking him to the exam as I make it up to the operating room?" Nezu asked, "Of course, sir." The man said, Nezu walked off. The man looked toward Izuku and smiled. "Please follow me, sir." The man said, smiling. Izuku followed the man up many halls and stairs, until they made it to a large door. "In there, Mr. Midoriya. I wish you luck." The man said, Izuku smiled at him. "Thank you, sir." Izuku said, bowing.
The man smiled before walking away. Izuku walked in, smiling a little. He saw other people there, some looked towards him, but didn't care much. Izuku stood there waiting until something happened. Then there was a scream across the room, Izuku made it there in a flash. He bent down in front of the girl, before anyone could see. "Are you alright?" Izuku asked, smiling warmly, while looking over her body for any injury. She looked up, "W-where am I-I?" She asked, scared. Izuku softly pet her head. "Don't worry, nobody will hurt you. We are in a hero training building. Can you tell me your name? I'm deku." Izuku said, smiling. "I-I'm Gena." She said, calming down. "Can you tell me how you got here?" Izuku asked, "I-I, um, there was s-someone he was invisible. H-he dashed away with me, he t-threw me to the g-ground as soon as w-we got in here." She said, trembling a bit. Izuku narrowed his eyes a little. Izuku looked around a little. Before looking at the little girl. Izuku shook his head. Izuku picked her up. People started to look around after that. That's when gun fire started happening. Izuku used, full cowl to move faster, he saw a few people passed out on the ground. Izuku protected the girl in his arms, so she wouldn't get hurt. Izuku then saw people come out of the shadows. He smirked a little, Izuku looked at the little girl with kind eyes, smiling. "Don't worry little one, I'll protect you." Izuku said, grinning, her eyes widened a little before smiling herself. Izuku held her close to his chest, before going into action like others already are. Izuku held the girl with one arm and smiled. Izuku had people run at him with knives. First one tried to slash the girl, making him move to the side and grab his wrist whipping him to the wall, making the person unconscious. Izuku looked at the rest of them seeing he was surround. Izuku smirked. Izuku dodged there quirks while punching and kicking them in the face, knocking them to the ground, while being wary of the little girl. When Izuku finished defeating the people around him that kept coming, he saw only 4 more people left.
Izuku heard look out, but Izuku caught the little girls wrist before the knife stabbed him. The little girl dropped the knife in surprise. "You know little one, your acting was interesting." Izuku said, smiling. "You're such a youngster in his look that it would be hard to release." Izuku said, looking towards the little girl, who was shocked. "H-how did you k-know?" She asked, shocked. Izuku smiled and patted her head. "The look in your eyes gave it away." Izuku said, "Plus, you got to be wary of lots of people, Gena." Izuku said, smiling. "W-what are you, g-going to do to m-me?" She asked, scared. "Well, that's not up to me to decide it up to the authority's, though since this is an exam and your an actress, you will be going home." Izuku said, smiling. The girl grinned, "I guess you're right." She said, the door opened and Izuku put her down.
The little girl ran up to the man and the man picked her up. Izuku lined up with the rest. "Good job, everyone of you passing the first exam. Now for the next one get to know each other." The man said, before leaving. "What the hell! Is this some kind of joke!" One man yelled, he had purple hair, red eyes, and slender build. "Hello, it's nice to meet you all. I'm Nima Mia, my hero man is scarlet thunder." Mia said in a bubbly voice. She had a fit build, long curly brown hair, and yellow eyes. "I'm Tina Sinatra, hero name, gamer, its nice to meet you." A Tina said in a tense and serious voice. She had long purple hair, skinny build, and light purple eyes. "Yo dudes! I'm Kero McKellen! Hero name devil tornado" A guy said, grinning. He had dark red hair, skinny, and brown eyes. "Ugh, I'm Shinko Quinn, it's nice to meet you. My hero name is blast." He said, annoyed. He had blue hair pulled back and black eyes. They looked towards Izuku. "Hello, I'm izuku Midoriya, my hero name is deku. It's nice to meet you all." Izuku said, smiling. "What a weird hero name." Tina said, Izuku laughed at this. "Why do you guys want to be a hero? I want to be a hero, so people can look up to me." Kero asked, "For the money." Shinko said, rolling his eyes. "For my family's legacy." Tina said, serious like. "To help people with all I got!" Mia yelled, fist bumping. "I want to save people, so they can go home safely knowing that I'm there to save them if anything happens." Izuku said, grinning. "Anyone married?" Mia asked, smirking. "No, I live by myself." Kero said, laughing. "Same here." Tina and Shinko said at the same time, making them look at eachother, glaring a little. "I live with my 3 kids." Izuku said, "Wow thats cool bro!" Kero said, making Izuku laugh. "What about the mother?" Mia asked, "I adopted them, so, they only have me as their dad." Izuku said, smiling fondly. "You look really young to be a father, how old are they?" Tina asked, "my oldest is 14, my second oldest is 12, and my youngest is 6." Izuku said, smiling. "Wow! You must have been young when you adopted them.!" Mia yelled, "Thats cool, bro!" Kero yelled, "Any of you guys have children?" Izuku asked, they all shook their heads 'no'. Izuku smiled at that, that's when a voice over the speakers speaker up."Hello everyone, if you can see there a door on you're left please go through." The guy on the speaker said, everyone looked towards the door.
"Lets go!" Mia yelled, they walked to the door and Tina opened it and looked inside. It was pitch black. They all walked in carefully. That's when the door closed, there was a light over the edge. They jumped in surprise, there was a large pit of lava on each side of the checkered walk way. "We should be careful, any wrong step can lead to our deaths." Izuku said, looking around. "How put you in charge?" Shinko asked, rudely. "No need to be rude, dude." Kero said, "Shut up." Shinko snapped at Kero. Izuku wasn't paying attention though. Something caught his eye, there were symbols on the walls. One was snapped as arrows, fire, pins, and gas. Izuku eyes widened at this, it showed them on white tiles. "When we cross, do not step on the white tiles." Izuku said in a very serious voice. "Got it!" Mia said, "Why?" Tina asked, Izuku pointed to the walls, making them look. "Geez." Kero said, "Okay, let's just go already." Tina said, sighing. Tina and Shinko went first carefully. Mia then went and Jeto went next. Izuku looked carefully as he walked he then heard a 'Oh no.' Making his eyes shoot open. He heard arrows fly. "GET DOWN!" He yelled, throwing Kero on the ground with him. "Guys, the bridge is sinking!" Mia yelled, Izuku looked back. "Cover your mouths, gas!" Izuku yelled, Izuku saw needles on the ground, making him worry. Izuku started full cowl, he picked up Kero and then Mia and ran at top speed, seeing the other to almost there. When Izuku made it to the end he put the too down. He saw no handle, making him sigh. "Smaaaaaash!" Izuku yelled, punching the door, making the door fly of it's hinges. They ran all ran into the other room.
"Oh, man. Thanks dude." Kero said, grinning. "You were so cool!)" Mia cheered, they all looked around. A game controller was in Tina's hands, she was being wary. Izuku then saw Shinko with fire all over his body. "Should we start up our quirks too?" Mia asked, "Totally!" Kero said, grinning. Mia had red lightning surrounding her and Kero was on top of a tornado. Izuku was just standing there. He walked around and saw a person on a chair.
"Ahh, welcome to the 4th exam. I'm here to get into you're minds." The man on the chair said, grinning in a creep way. "What the hell do you mean by that?!" Shinko yelled with a pissed off look. "Shinko, right. You never wanted to be a hero, huh. You want a normal life. You hated your quirk because of the attention you got. You hated being around people so you scared them off. You accidently killed your father because of you quirk. Aren't I right?" The man on the chair said, eyes looking into Shinko's eyes. Shinko stepped back and rage came over him. "Who the hell told you this?!" Shinko yelled, pissed off.
"Tina, you always tried your best to please your parents, trying to make them love you, as much as they loved your younger siblings. You hated how they always get all the attention and the love from your parents that you want to be a hero. To finally get them to love you." The man said, eyes staring right into her eyes. Tina flinched. "Shut the hell up!" Tina yelled, as she felt tears sting her eyes.
"Kero wasn't it, you lived on the streets since you were young. You were bullied as soon as you got into the orphanage. You were so hurt by someone said on time, you sent the poor boy to the hospital. You wanted to be happy, you want to be loved, so much that you lied just to have a family, am I right?" The man said, kero flinched back and rage was in his eyes.
"Mia, you had a great family, but, had an abusive boyfriend that you allowed to keep hurting you because you loved him so much. Your parents didn't like the guy, so they wouldn't talk to you. When you found out he was a villain you tried running away, but, he caught you, he even torchered you until finally pro heroes came. Till this day, you never allowed yourself to love another man." The man said, smirking, as Mia started to cry.
"Izuku, your father left the day you were born, because he didn't want a child. Your mother took care of you by herself. The day you guys found out you were quirkless, you got bullied everyone turned against you, even your best friend. Your mother started to stress eat, but she loved you none the less. You were bullied so bad that you became suicidal. Everyone told you that a quirkless can't be a hero, even the old hero All Might the person you admire most told you so. That's when you almost killed yourself, but then out of know where you got a quirk. You went to UA and did amazing, but you quit and moved to America, leaving the people you loved with out them knowing. Your mother got so stressed she almost died." The man said, Izuku smiled a little. "You got that right, I made mistakes, I had been through hard things. We all did, but that's what made us strong, strong enough to do anything. If we hadn't been through these things we wouldn't be how we are today. We are lucky that we are standing here." Izuku said, grinning. "He's right, I moved on from the passed it will still haunt me, but I'm not giving up, by it!" Mia yelled, whipping her tears. "I might have did wrong, but I'm not giving up either!" Kero yelled, gist bumping the air. "I might hate myself for the passed, but I ain't leaving until I become a hero!" Shinko yelled with his flames flaring. "My parents may not love me yet but I will make them love me, even if I die, saving innocent people is one way I like to do it!" Tina said in a serious voice. They man laughed, "You pass, go through that door for your lady test." The man said, smirking.
They all walked through the door and there eyes adjusted to the white room and windows, there was a woman standing there. "Last exam, loves. One of you have to die will have to die. Here's the gun." The lady said, smirking, before leaving. "What the hell!?" Kero yelled, "I'm not killing anyone or myself. This is crazy bullshit." Shinko said, "I-I'll do it." Mia said, as she walked over to the gun shocking. "Are you crazy, don't do it!" Shinko yelled, Izuku ran over and grabbed the gun before she can grab it. "Your scared." Izuku said, grabbing Mia's trembling hands with his one. "What are y-you doing?" Mia asked, "I'll kill myself." Tina said, serious. Izuku through the gun at the window, smashing the window into pieces. "WHAT THE HE DUDE!" Kero yelled with a face of pure horror. "FUCK! WHAT THE HELL ARE WE GOING TO DO! AREN'T WE SUPPOSED TO KILL OURSELVES WITH IT!" Mia yelled, freaking out. "Shit! Look what you did!" Tina yelled, face worried. "Man, the window." Shinko said, making some people look at him. Izuku laughed, "Nobody is killing themself over this." Izuku said, seriously. We will just have to wait until she comes back in." Izuku said in a chill voice. "Dude, are you insane?!" Kero yelled, making Izuku laugh. "Maybe." Izuku said, letting go of Mia's hands. Izuku looked to the door. "We will just walk through, I don't feel like waiting." Izuku said, boredly. Izuku walked to the door and opened it, they were shocked that the door was opened.
Izuku walked through see people there and Nezu. "Hello, good evening." Izuku said, smiling. The rest walked through saying nervous hellos. "Congrats on passing as heroes!" They all said, they were all shocked but smiling. Izuku just smiled though. "What time is it?" Izuku asked, "2:30." Nezu said, Izuku started sweating a little. "The kids!" Izuku yelled, running down the halls without using his quirk like a maniac, yelling 'Daddy's coming!' Nezu laughed at this. "I'll just get Aizawa to give him his license." Nezu said, the others laughed. "He is a nice man, I hope to see him again." Mia said, smiling. "Me too, Midoriya is going to be a great hero!" Kero said, fist bumping the air.
Izuku made it to the bus stop as soon as the bus arrived. Izuku was out of air, panting. "Daddy!" Elizabeth yelled, hugging Izuku. "Hey dad." James said, smiling. "Hey kids!" Izuku said, smiling. "Um, so are you a pro hero now?" James asked, "You got that right!" Izuku said, striking a pose as Elizabeth struck a pose with him giggling. James laughed, "Lets head home, dummies." James said, laughing. Izuku picked Elizabeth and started running at James, who started running while laughing. "Who you calling dummies!" Elizabeth yelled, "You too, baka!" James yelled, sticking his tongue out. "You're getting it now, go daddy go!" Elizabeth yelled, yanking at Izuku's hair. Making Izuku laugh. Izuku ran faster and pulled James into his arms as they made it to the shop. Izuku tickled him, making him fall to his knees in laughter. Elizabeth got off and jumped on his brothers back. Izuku laughed and opened the cafe.
Izuku, James, and Elizabeth set up shop. When they finished they opened the cafe. Izuku was in apron, as some customers were inside.
As the doors open to reveal Aizawa, Eri, and Kota. Izuku smirked, "Welcome." Izuku said, smiling. "You forgot your license." Aizawa said, smirking. Pulling out his license, Izuku was about to take it, but he got pulled into a kiss. "Holy shit@ Am I seeing things!" Kota yelled, Eri laughed as Izuku chuckled during the kiss. Aizawa pulled away and gave Izuku his license. Izuku smiled, "Thanks." Izuku said, pouring him a black coffee. Aizawa say down at the counter and drank the coffee. "How was school, you two?" Izuku asked, smiling. "It was alright." Eri said, smiling, while sitting down. "It was okay." Kota said, rolling his eyes, sitting next to Eri.
"Is that the guy, sissy has a crush on?" Elizabeth whispered to James, "I think, so. We should give he a talk." James said, smirking, Elizabeth giggled. They both put on there sun glasses. Izuku looked at them with a raised eye brow. They walk around the counter like gangster. They all looked at them. "Yo punk!" Elizabeth yelled, crossing her arms with James. "Are you taking to me?" Kota asked, pointing to himself. "Who else would it be?" Elizabeth said, cool like. Izuku chuckled at this. "If you hurt our sister, we hurt you. Got it fool!" James yelled, tipping his glasses abit, so you could his eyes. "Huh?" Kota said, confused. "He said, you got it!" Elizabeth yelled, "Ok, I got it!" Kota said, putting his hands up in defense. "He got, were watching up punk." James said, walking back behind the counter. "I watching you, you little brat!" Elizabeth said, pointing at her eyes with 2 fingers to Kota's with the 2 fingers, walking back to behind the counter. Elizabeth looked at James and nodded together, before taking off ther sunglasses. Aizawa chuckled a little. "You kids are weird." Izuku said, laughing. "Who are you calling weird!" They both yelled, Izuku laughed holding his hands up in defense.
After a while, Kota and Aizawa went home and Izuku put the kids to bed, as he stayed up with the cafe.
Izuku heard the bell ring to the cafe and was shocked to see who it was, the man was even shocked to Izuku. "Umm hey." He said, nervously. "Hi." Izuku said, the man sat down tenses up a bit. "What would you like?" Izuku asked, "Coffee, please." He said, Izuku made him a coffee and set it down. "Umm, I, ahh. Changed." The man said, "That's good to know." Izuku said, smiling. "I'm sorry." The man said, izuku smiled. "It's cool." Izuku said, smiling, while setting down the coffee. "Umm, its good to see your back in Japan." The man said, "Thanks, I didn't think I would have seen you again, Dabi." Izuku said, laughing a little. "Same here." Dabi said, while starting to drink his coffee. "Umm, you married?" Dabi asked, "No, you?" Izuku asked, smiling a little. "Yeah, too hawks." Dabi said, making Izuku smirk. "That's good to hear, I'm dating Shita Aizawa." Izuku said, smirking. Dabi was surprised at this. "Holy sot! No way! Your old teacher!" Dabi yelled, making Izuku laugh. "Yeah, but he ain't that old." Izuku said, laughing. "He's in his thirties right?" Dabi said, "Yeah." Izuku said, smiling. "I see, well you changed quite a bit." Dabi said, making Izuku smile. "Yeah, I even have 3 adopted kids." Izuku said, smiling. "Thats cool, we have 1 adopted kid." Dabi said, smiling. "That's good, Eri just started UA today. She already likes a boy, you should have seen what my other 2 kids did to the boy earlier today. It was funny, the put on sun glasses and walked like gangsters to the boy and threatened him, it was quite hilarious." Izuku said, chuckling. Dabi snickered, "Did you teach them that?" Dabi asked, "No they probably got it off the internet, I would have threatened the boy and slammed him against the wall or done it discreetly, but I'll do that when they start dating." Izuku said, laughing. Dabi chuckled, "Hmm, you sound like a good father." Dabi said, "Thanks, its good to see that you changed and come back here again." Izuku said, smiling. Dabi smiled back, "I will, thank you." Dabi said, putting down his coffee, pulling out money, laying it on the counter. "See you, Midoriya." Dabi said, leaving.
After a while, Izuku closed shop and locked the register. Izuku walked up the stairs with his phone and keys. Izuku walked passed the kitchen to the hallway he looked through the kids doors, see that they are safe and a sleep, before going to bed in his room falling asleep himself.
