Chapter 44: Good News And A Bad News

At midnight- when Chloe and others were sleeping- , the Three Dark Mage were standing in front of the Vent's body as they dug a hole at the ground for his grave at Azoth Cave.

(Zeno's Pov)

"...." I was praying silently for Vent as he finds peace and watch over us.

"They have even killed one of us...." said First Mage.

"They are just doing even more crimes... They will have to pay for it...." said Second Mage.

"Zeno, did Vent managed to summon him at the Shadow Rift- different dimension? And did he managed to get what was inside the Viking Ruins?" He continued as he asked.

I opened my eyes and turned towards the Second Mage.

"Yes, he did." I replied.

"I see...If we can't get the White Tear, atleast we have other plans to destroy this kingdom...." He said.
